Timezone: GMT -6 (mountain) Friday evenings (sometimes Saturdays instead) beginning around 17:00. I'm trying to set up a Pathfinder game that will run weekly From the 14th that will be in a Homebrew setting and played in an open/sandbox style. As the story progresses, I will emphasize drawing on character backstories , and goals set by the players to create a campaign that grows into something not entirely of my own mind. This will involved a mix of preparing ahead of time and improvising plots twists on the spot in response to what players do and say. I'm looking for someone to join the group who is a good communicator, group oriented, and basically just looking to have a fun time playing. If applying, please submit character ideas to me including the following guidelines: Character creation: core races, and humans are by far the most common (if you really want to pick another race, sell me on how your character will fit into a mostly human society that considers the term "racist" to be more often a compliment than insult) Any Paizo material except gunslingers, although I may later work that technology into the setting. Kineticists make me cringe, but I'd rather allow it and trust players not to go too power crazy. 20 point buy Group currently has a human oracle (occult mystery), a half-orc fighter, and a tengu sorcerer Character Story: I want to start this campaign off having some story for characters. I don't expect a novel, but rather hope you can provide a nice, to-the-point summary. It should include the following elements: Why are you in Carisport, the main port in the recently founded human Orona colonies? Why is your character a reliable person that the group would value over another candidate (the guy wanting to play a furry kelptomaniac who has a kanck for frequently getting the party into trouble showed me some people really don't get this point)? Make up a simple concept of one friend or ally your character has - I will reference this ally from time to time. Make up a simple concept of one adversary your character has - a competitor in training? someone with a grudge? other?
