No one answers, Willing to DM but have no experience. (Need Advice)

I recently took the time to look at another post about people not responding. The majority of the community gave very honest and logical feedback as to why that is. there is a surplus of player in comperison to DM's. I myself would love to help with this problem and DM but i have no experience in playing or DM since i can never get into a game. I've also tried reading rulebooks on my own and its a lot to take in when you don't understand half the stuff. So basically what im asking is there anyone that can give me the chance to gain this experience or teach me how to dm or help clarify some rulebooks for me so i can help out with the surplus problem in the community.
Watch a few games on youtube or check out some live ones on twitch.
Are you looking to run D&D? It's a relatively complicated system. Anyone who played for the first time with their friends as kids did a ton of shit... I don't want to say wrong, but against the rules. When nobody knew anything it was fine, but trying to run a game for players who "know better" could be tough. My advice would be stick to the low levels. Run a mix of combat and social, and stick to simpler monsters and locations for combat. Don't run investigation style stuff unless you're ok with the possibility it will be easily bypassed by a spell or somesuch. Speak With Dead vs. the murder mystery, for example. There are volumes of print and video material on how to be a better GM, but you won't get there over night. So keep it as simple as possible.
Depends on what you want to play/run. I am one of the DMs for the D&D4e group The Living Guild Campaign. We have 18 DMs, about 140 players and we are constantly getting people ready to run games (we will likely have 3 new DMs trial this month). So if you are looking for a game to get you into the swing of things, help you get started and then get you in the driver's seat, let me know. We don't let just anyone DM, but we have a lot of resources (videos, blog posts, brainstorming sessions and seminars) to get DMs ready to run.
I would definitely recommend Matthew Colvilles's Running the Game series. At the very least watch the two minute introductory video. Just accept that you will be terrible starting out, pretty much everyone is. People won't care.

Yeah, first step is to decide 1-2 systems that you want to learn. Do you prefer High Fantasy? Probably want D&D 5E or Pathfinder then Do you want Survival? Probably Mutant Year Zero or Fragged Empire Do you want Space Opera? Star Wars FFG Figure out what one of the most popular systems are for whatever genre you want to be Running Games for. and welcome to the Gamemaster's Ranks!
You may also want to run some one shots with people. And there is systems that are more simple. 5e for instance has less information to read than pathfinder(saying this, judging by websites hosting their material). A very simple system would be "Lasers & Feelings". It's literally just 1-2 pages of information.

There are Youtube channels out there that are GOLD MINES of DM advice... My personal favorites are: Drunkens and Dragons - Follow the boisterous DM Hankeran Fernal as he drinks spirits and teaches you all about using Game Mechanics to better your Game Design. He's more a dungeon crawl type DM, but he does it so well... I recommend watching ALL of his room design series. Trust me. it's wonderful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIFxPXlTzlQ&t=1547... How to Be a Great Game Master - This beautiful South African man with his wonderful voice has really aided me in my thought processes while sitting at the table. A lot of D&D is improv, and this guy has some great tips to help everyone from beginners to experts. I haven't seen as much of his stuff as I would like, but his video on NPC Dialogue specifically was a huge help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1SfZ2Fp_BQ Matt Corville - Well formatted, well spoken. The guys is a writer by trade, and his Running the Game series, as mentioned above, is a great way to see inside the mind of an experienced DM and see how they tick. These are my current favorites however I've also watched - Matthew Mercer GM Tips ( more basics, not horribly helpful for people who already have some DMing experience) - Nerdarchy (Rambly and hard to listen to, however sometimes they have some great advice) - Dawnforge Cast (great pathfinder introduction series, but otherwise suffers from some of the Nerdarchy issues) - Web DM (Overall... Good stuff... Not my top three, but I enjoy the banter) You'll find out quite quickly as you get exploring that there is an ABUNDANCE of help out there for new DM's, and once you get hooked, you'll hopefully enjoy it as much as the rest of us... Ooohh extra stuff you may enjoy... DMSguild - TONS OF FREE MODULES + IDEAS, it's basically a D&D Library... There is paid content too, and I have bought plenty... TheAngryGM - Great writer with a good grasp on the game. I recommend reading some of his posts once you get start getting your barings. Covers more advanced topics.

You should definitely check out the subreddit DnDBehindTheScreen. I learned a lot from there.

I can meet up with you on wed or thursday to advise you on skype or discord. The only question is what kind of game do you want to run. As a first time I recommend Lost mines of Phandelver or even Astabars manor as that is a nice begging one shot to go with. I have ran both and they are fun to do. If you like my proposal then message me and we can start when you are available
