Hello there, dear future GM! We (being me and a friend of mine, so two people) are looking for a GM that is running or is about to run a D&D game (2e, 3.5 or 5e). The system is not as important as that we are looking for an overall experience. We want to build characters that feel like actual people and explore the world and interact with NPCs and find interesting things and make alliances and enemies and interact with our party members in funny but also meaningful ways. We like in-game consistencies and are looking for a GM with an eye for detail and loads of love for his/her game. Somebody who encourages creative ideas, but also doesn't let his players pull items and abilities out of nowhere. A game in which the world makes sense to a degree and confusion is something that the GM intended and not created by glaring plotholes and inconsistencies. I know, I know... it sounds demanding and picky... but the two of us think that if a game lacks consistency, the world becomes random and confusing to a degree where the character can't be played without either breaking character or relying solely on dicerolls at which point the game turns into pure ROLLplay over ROLEplay. What we bring is a keen eye for details, lots of enthusiasm, understanding that each character should have their moment to shine and other players should let them have it, never-ending thirst for story and exploration, solving mysteries, puzzles, getting to know the NPCs and the world (and actually being capable of keeping track of their own inventory). We think that the rules are necessary to keep things interesting, but that sometimes things can get resolved by good RP and an open mind as well (it's ultimately up to the DM to make us roll or not). If you think you have what we're looking for and would like us in your game, pls shoot me a PM! Thanks a bunch! BR, Shin P.S.: We prefer Discord. :o)
