[LFG][5e] Experienced Roleplayer seeks to find more RP

So i'm an Experienced D&D Rper, i've been playing since i picked up an AD&D starter kit back when i was a kid.  I took a long break after college as i no longer had anyone to play with, but with the discovery of Roll 20 am greatly enjoying throwing myself back into the mix of different games.  I am currently a part of two amazing campaigns, but am looking to add a couple more.  Would prefer to be a longer term Campaign, can be Homebrew or Module, but with a group of people who are willing to spend the time to actually roleplay their characters through the events that are transpiring.   What's that quote? "I'm tired of being myself, let's be someone else for awhile?"  I'm looking for a couple of games where i can escape and be someone else for a while. I typically play High Charisma/intelligence characters ( i love being able to talk my way into, and out of trouble) where i can focus on RPing as the character, rather than narrating my character.  Specifically seeking a D&D 5e game, or Pathfinder game that is fine with someone who has no experience at all in that system.   oh yeah, i'm located in the PST time zone (GMT - 8) but my schedual is pretty flexible and can usually play at just about any time that isn't before like 10am my time.  Would like to find something during the week, the only times i can't really play are Wednesday 8pm-12am PST and Sunday 5pm - 9pm PST  and am currently keeping Saturday afternoon free until i see what happens but am mostly looking for something during the week.
Hi Ryan, you may be interested in our discord server, we are a expanding community with a lot of dms. There is always a game running - even if its just a one shot. However I know our dms are currently working on new campaigns for new groups. So if you are interested? let me know and il send you a link.
Hey guys, still lookin, also open for systems such as Pathfinder, or Shadowrun,  Would be interested in playing a Summoner in Pathfinder, but as for Shadowrun, i wanna play but i'm litterally a brand newbie when it comes to it.
What about a B-Grade superhero fighting zombies to save humanity?
Unfortunately a superhero campaign isn't really what i'm looking for at the moment.   I really appreciate the suggestion though, i'm just more looking for a high fantasy or science fiction setting, with fantastic races and such.  I'd like to get as far away from this world that i can, rather than fighting to save it.
I'm planning on starting a new campaign soon. The first day (Aka the 0 session) will be May 13. It'll be a slight homebrew of 5e. We usually play Saturdays @5pm est. So like 2pm your time if my math is correct. I don't mind people using UA stuff. I like both characters you have posted. If you are interested, feel free to PM me. ^-^ Thanks.
Still searching for a game or two to occupy my weekdays.
I am a sci fi GM here on roll20 for about 7 years, off and on.  I am a DM that is a member of the Discord Community that Pocketgeek mentioned. Right now I am setting up to be running Outbreak: DeepSpace, (Sci Fi Gritty Realism Survival Horror, like Aliens or Pitch black films) but it is full with 8, though someone might drop. That will be a 7 or 8 week mini-campaign.  I am new to that system, but multiple players from Discord asked me to run it. In July, running Twilight:2000, 2nd Edition, very depressing bleak alternate History (Sci Fi, Gritty Realism Modern Day Alternate History Survival Military). That game has three interested people   I have ran that game since first edition when it was released in 1984. Sometime in Fall, probably late September / October, looking to run One Ring by Cubicle 7 for about a year, out of roleplayers / Narrative style players that I find from the above two games, plus hangers-on. Ran it twice here as 6 month campaigns once for 10 players, and once for 11 players, where both groups lost heart, and fell into the grip of Shadow and became tools of Mordor, breaking the fellowship.  That game is my favorite fantast to run.  If I can't find players for it to make a full group, I will run it as 5e "Adventures in Middle Earth" but it will be strict according to the setting, trying to emulate the One Ring style (Which I prefer.) All of the above games will be using Discord, voice. No Cam. Streaming audio to support the Discord community I am part of. I am an actor/ roleplayer Narrative style GM, I am a screenwriter and have done voice acting in the past, and worked in the independent film industry. Welcome to Roll20.
That's great James, that's pretty cool.  But i'm not interested in Horror games, they're probably my least favorite genre of anything at the moment.  And as it's full..... and i'm looking for something that starts a little sooner than july or fall.   So thank you for reading my post, but i really am looking for 5e or PF at the moment as those are the two systems i am most familiar with.
Ryan M., I recommend the discord server Pocketgeek suggests, I'm on it and I can say that they have bunches of games going.  At least a couple every day. I am going to be starting a Shadowrun game quite soon, for a few other newbies from here.  I can send you a discord invite, if you like?  Are Friday evenings good for you?  It's the only good day (I'm in EST) to be able to accomodate your time zone.
I'm already in the group Peter, but thank you ^^ I'm in there quite often, but with my anxiety, and the speed of the chat, i find it hard to post in there.  I just do my best to check in when someone throws up a notification.   Most of the games i've been seeing have been for one-shots, or short term campaigns, and while that can be fun, i really want to be able to invest in a story for awhile.   And i know i'm probably comming off as a little bit of a "GIMME RP!!!!!" brat at the moment, and i apologize.  But i am also working on a Homebrew campaign of my own that i hope to bring to the community after i can get some of the systems worked out.  It will be a fantasy adventure focused on first person RP, with PC's pulled from various universes, and must survive and grow in this new world, while gaining strength and deciding their own fate in the looming chaos.  So i do have plans to give back to the community when i can find a couple more people to test it out with.
We're beginning a new campaign 7-10PM EST on Fridays. We're looking for one stable more player that will fit the group as we have been playing together for almost a year and have multiple campaigns with each other and a few other players here and there according to the different schedules. The introductive chapter begins as you are brought as slaves to your new master and trained to fight in the arena until you are able to earn your freedom and begin the story with a title to your name. This is a game where players interact in character and leave aside all game knowledge to have a better experience. This first chapter isn't just arena fight after arena fight, it's brought with RP, actual training sessions, interaction with other gladiators and feeling like crap being the new acquires slaves who still have yet to prove themselves or die. Let me know if I got your interest.
Ryan, good luck, hope you find a game that is satisfying for you.

It will delve into the plane of Zendikar (Magic the Gathering plane shift). I have worked really hard on the campaign. I have lore, random encounters, dungeon delves, cities/towns with npcs, and more. You do start at level 10; but if your worried about joining due to that, I will help you. The campaign starts at 12:30 pm CDT (GMT -6) every Saturday. Otherwise if your still interested, please click on the link provided above. Even though it is on Saturday, it may be interesting enough for you to change your mind.
