Me and two of my friends are looking to join a 4th edition game. any DM's willing to take us? we are new to D&D but we are currently reading through the 4E players handbook. hoping to play Fighter and Bard but we will also play whatevers needed. we just wanna play lol. I offer my artistic abilities to your campaign as a bonus :3 looking to play any day of the week except Mondays Tuesdays and Thursday.
I am also a fairly new player, would love to join you guys with the campaign
If someone offers to DM, I'll gladly offer to join as a player. If someone does not offer to DM, then I'll shoulder the responsibility of running the game.
So i guess we still need 1 player?
I actually got another IRL friend to play so I think we might be set if Lizard is willing to DM. were very new to D&D though. I only played a Basic Game of 3.5 that I bought back in the day with friends who thought D&D was stupid so we didn't really finish. My friend that Im trying to play with now plays 3.5 at his college but just started and wants to learn 4E. even I am trying to learn 4E :3
OK, so just so I know what to expect (and can adjust my campaign accordingly), when you guys say you're new, how new do you mean? From the description in the OP, I'm guessing Ark and his/her friend have never played. I'm not sure from louis has ever played before or not from that post. Are there any rules you're having trouble understanding? I'm considering running the beginner's module from the Red Box first (but slightly edited, since, if you guys have the books, you don't need the tutorial parts) and then transitioning into my own homebrew campaign.

I'm a dude :D well ive been studying my butt off all night for a campaign im about to start tomorrow. so I kinda know whats what but my other two friends are completely new dude. also I'm willing to RP and play seriously but my two joker friends will be kinda acting crazy lol however they're respectful of others, so theres gonna be some tomfoolery just to give you a heads up. thanks for shouldering the responsibility of DM dude. <3 tee hee...oh yeah I'm a dude.
I know I'm throwing you guys for a curveball, but I was recently bitten by the nefarious DM Bug, and now I'm infected with the twin diseases of passion and creativity. I'd like to be the Dungeon Master for the six of you (since that's more convenient than getting a whole new group together), and my schedule's Wednesday evenings are currently occupied by nothing but an endless void of dullness. Let me know if you're cool with that, Lizard Bite. My heart won't be broken if you're dead-set on DMing after all.
That's fine. I've had ideas in my mind for both a character and a campaign, so I'm happy with getting to use either.
I will start sending invites via PM.

Can I be a bard? I want to sing songs of fortune and wonder. Oh yeah, I know that guy Ark. He owes me five bucks.
Just posting here one more time as a confirmed wrap-up of the recruiting process. Everyone has gotten their PMs, and unless literally half of the prospectives don't end up joining, that means we are now full. Details relevant to this game will be discussed in the campaign forum.
