LFP - New player and Old! For a fantastic, DND adventure! 5e West Marches with a custom homebrew campaign.

So, I'll try to make this as quick as possible. Given that the campaign in itself is currently being created by four GMs brainstorming an engaging story with engaging consequences all wrapped in an engagement bow to make an engaging game. This, so far, is a homebrew masterpiece. 5e is being used as a basis, but we're actually planning on testing and adding a "Mercenary" mechanic. As a west marches, the worst sensation is death, right? If your party is level 10, and you pass out, you'll start at level 3. That just makes people choose the safest route over the one that'll promote RP. So I figure I'll change how death impacts a player. If a young lady seduces the wrong guy down a back alley only to find that he keeps a poison dagger on hand- Then it falls on the "Guild's" level when she remakes. You'll be able to promote the Guild/mercenary group through missions and out of mission actions. That makes it so that it levels up with fame, resources, opportunity, and people. Upon death, you'll start at the level of the guild. Which is going to be close to any party considering their feats. I'm just looking for whomever would be interested right now. Based on that, I'll see if I need to make an additional post to discuss the more.. Detail intensive stuff.
I am interested in this concept, is this how West Marches game work? Would a new game start with the players at level 1 or level 10?
Hey, I've definitely interested in this (I think the mercenary mechanic looks like a great addition). My schedule gets erratic so Western Marches style is what works for me!
I'd be interested in joining.
Yeah, this sounds fantastic. count me in.
