I'm new to Roll20 and it's been awhile since I've played any RPG. I spent about 4-5 years GM'ing a Star Wars D20 campaign back in college and have played or GM'd multiple DnD 3.5 campaigns. Recently started up a Savage Worlds: Deadlands Reloaded campaign with a few folks that meet infrequently. I was hoping to find a group to play with on Roll20 on Thursdays, either weekly or bi-weekly, in the evenings. I'm open to most any game scenario and am happy to read and learn the rules on my own time for whatever group I land in. In terms of gameplay, I'm looking for something with a more story angled bent. I love combat as much as the next person, but I'd like to be able to flex social and investigative skills and things of that nature. To that end, I'm not opposed to learning an entire new scenario, ruleset, what have you. I got drawn to Deadlands at the thought of Cthulu meets Cowboys, so my tastes are pretty varied. I'd even been down with a super generic DnD campaign, so long as things like charm, intimidate, etc., were skills that were occasionally tested. Preferably, I'd want to join a group that used both voice and chat, either through Roll20 (though I've seen how buggy their interface is with that) or through Discord/Skype or whatever other software works best. I'm 34, married, pretty chill. Just want to have fun taking part in a kick ass story with some strangers. I'm pretty hands on and dedicated with stuff like this. Made game tokens for my most recent party, like to write up unique backstories, and so forth. Very much interested in playing to create a cool and fun story.
