Just did the tutorial the other day and discovered that holding ALT while dragging an image from the library is supposed to drop it at its normal size and not shrink it down. This is not true. I tried dragging some large maps to the map layer both with and without the grid and every single time the map piece drops at 3x3 instead of its natural size.
