[LFG] Starwars Saga

As the topic implies I'm looking to join a group for starwars saga. I don't really hold my hopes up because apparentely the system is seldom used and I hate FFGs system with a passion. As for other smaller details. I'm looking for a campaign where I can play a jedi/sith. Honestly starwars as a universe revolves around jedi/siths, they are what makes starwars different from everything else and if I wanted to play any other class then there would be plenty of other space operas available for me to play. Idealisticly I'd prefer a DM who uses darkside points in a more logical way (acordingly to how it's used rather than simply awarding them for using a darkside power for example) but if the DM just follows the rules to the letter I'm fine with that too. I prefer a more roleplay oriented group, something like 70% roleplay and 30% combat. But of course not a group that completly disreguards one or the other side of the game. As for free time, currently my free days are Monday and Thursday starting anywhere from 7pm GMT+1 and going onwards. Again I don't really have much hopes of actually finding a group for saga but who knows, maybe I'll get lucky for once. Thanks for reading this.
I would like to second my interest. In case someone sees this and wants to put a group together. I have tons of the Saga books and not sure why it isn't used that often. I've looked over the new system and am not a fan of it.
I used to be one of the many regular SAGA DMs here on roll20. A lot of people just migrated over to FFG, because there was more support for it, and more narrative style. I have run Star Wars, every edition since d6, and now have the FFG books, which are more to my style. I was a Beta tester for Edge of the Empire. But, I know there are a few players looking for SAGA, using Discord for voice. I will direct them here.
Yeah, there are plenty of Saga players! Saga DMs however, not so much.
Hey also looking for a non FFG Star Wars game and, and, I'm willing to DM. However, If we are running Star Wars games I feel the same as I do about my Dungeons and Dragons. Original only, my AD&D campaign has been running since 1984 and on pre 1998 rules. Wanna play Star Wars lets play West End Games d6 Version from pre 1997. I can GM just about any week night and every now and then on a weekend. Located in the Mountain Time Zone and work and family occupy me til about 1800 every night. cheers
I am sorry but I am looking specificly for Starwars Saga. I don't know the orignal D6 rules but looking at the more recent it has plenty of things I really dislike about that ruleset. I could discuss what I dislike about it but I feel that it would be pointless to be wasting our time discussing why we like or not a ruleset since at the end of the day, discussing it will not change our views or likes on the particular system.
I am also interested in joining a Saga Edition game
Guess that's about it. I wasn't holding much hope but well, it is what it is. No one actually GMs Saga even though it's by far the best system out there.

I agree Elhazzared. It's a shame, but to be fair, most of the Saga GMs I ran into were a serious problem on Roll20. I was with a group a couple years back, all adult players looking for a GM. We spent 6 months and went through almost 14 GMs from Roll20. Most disappeared without a word, some killed the whole party on purpose, others lectured us for 45 minutes on Luke Skywalker and the movies at 1AM rather than run a test game. Then when we left, one of them got so mad he made fake accounts here and on Reddit to spam our threads and claim no one should GM for us lol. There has been nothing but garbage coming from Star Wars people on Roll20 (at least in my experience over the past few years). Not saying they're all bad of course, but I think you're really dodging a bullet here as I've never had that problem with any other system. Regardless, hopefully this bump helps ;) .
Interesting, awhile back I was looking for a SAGA group that was close to my schedule, couldn't find one then so I put together a campaign and started a game. First game played for a few months before we had scheduling conflicts with several players. I've recently rebooted the game and started taking on new players.

I've taken a look at your game but it doesn't really works for me sadly. It's on a day I already have a game on and it starts at 3am for me so that alone does makes it impossible to atend to. I did had noticed it before as I keep an eye on the games looking for players and I only made this post after I saw there was nothing that worked out. Other than that your game has a sort of a mix of normal game and play by post. I'm not entirely sure how you run it but I'm looking for a regular game played over voice. I do like text RP but I have standards for what is and whatis and isn't an acceptable post when text RPing and those standards usually mean that a post takes anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes to write. So for everyone to go around and get their posts in in a group of say, 6 people, it can take half an hour to an hour which is not feasable to get anywhere with any degree of expediency. The other problem is the biweekly game which I'm looking for a weekly one as for me when games come that far in between I just tend to lose sight of the goal and to a degree of how my character roleplays. I also might start forgetting stuff that was done previously because it's a 15 day gap between sessions. I do appreciate the nudge in form of offer for me to join but it is unfortunatly impossible for me to join this group. If you do consider putting up a group for a game on a monday or thursday, starting at least 3 hours earlier that is played entirely by voice and weekly, do give me a nudge as I'll be interested.
I am interested in playing in a Star Wars Saga d20 game.
I have a biweekly gap because of my family life, I generally take notes during the game, and a encourage my players to as well because a small piece of info I give out in one session might be important in a laterror session, to prevent memory loss from session to session plus my group discusses stuff between sessions out of character in a Skype Group chat.
For those who Knight be interested in a Saturday night (eastern time zone) game the link to the listing is below. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/64347/galaxy-at... and recently I decided to take out the PbP portion of the game aND only use voice during game nights.
Still looking for a game if anyone is interested in making a starwars saga campaign on either monday or thursday starting from 7PM GMT+1.
I'd consider running it for you El but that's right before my classes on those days. I would only have a couple hours in some cases to GM. I'm sorry, good luck in finding someone.
Thanks for the offer anyway, it is appreciated. So rare to see people who DM for Saga.
No problem, I could run it for you over the summer if you want. But as soon as Fall arrives and my new semester starts I'd have to close it.
Thanks but no, I'm looking for a long term campaign. I tend to get invested in mycharacters a little bit so I prefer something long lasting.
Bumping this up once again as it's been a couple days and still no DMs for Saga. Well no DMs within the days I have free anyway.
