Looking for 2 new players - Shadow of the Demon Lord (Newbie Friendly)

This is a dark fantasy roleplaying game created by Robert Schwalb. I'm looking for a few players. This game isn't a game of heroics. It's gritty, deadly, and dark. You will play a character who is living in a world that is doomed to die. Learning to cope with, and navigate in your quickly changing home is paramount. And maybe, just maybe you can do a few good deeds along the way... Well maybe there will be something worth fighting for. --------------------------------- I'm looking for 2 new players. Experience doesn't matter. I will gladly teach you the system, and guide you through character generation. The campaign has only just began and we are only two sessions in. The group, other than myself, is currently composed of 2 other players. They're playing a human female by the name of Thyre, who has been leading her coastal southern (nordic-ish) tribe north away from a newfound plague sweeping the south. And Seymour, a Clockwork who has been lost since he was created, tattered memories of his past life still haunting him. There is one limitation I'm putting in place on characters that you can create: I'm not allowing any ancestries from any book, other than the core rulebook. Most info from other sourcebooks is fine (Paths, Spells, Traditions, Etc), but no other races. If anyone is interested though just let me know and I'll post more details upon request. As of right now our gaming schedule is pretty flexible and we can be a little accommodating.
I've been itching to try out SOTDL. Would love to join you guys, depending on scheduling.
I'd be interested in trying this out. However fair warning, I'm a complete and total newbie and might be prone to stupid mistakes. Is this text or voice based, and about how long do sessions last?

We're leaning towards using Discord as our means of communication. The roll20 chat service seems a little wonky to us.

In Central time, I'd be able to play anywhere between 3pm to 8pm Tuesday through Saturday. Sundays I can play until much later. Would that work for you all?

Saturday afternoons maybe? EST as well. Good call on Discord Roll20 audio is a nightmare.
