[LFG] 5E Homebrew - Tuesdays 7 PM EST

Hello Roll20, here I am again looking for some players. I will be starting a campaign called ‘The Big Game’ next week that will be run on Tuesdays at 7 PM EST. We will be using D&D 5e core handbooks as well as the two additional books. The setting is homebrew but homebrew races and classes will not be used. Discord will be used for voice chat. ‘The Big Game’ will be largely comedic in tone as well as meta. This campaign is meant to be fun and funny, so feel free to bring whatever silly character idea you’ve had sitting on the back-burner! Players will start at level zero and will gain their class with first level as part of an in-game event. Character backstory is required but does not have to be extensive or epic, just enough material for me to craft a little of the world for you. This campaign will hopefully have just as much roleplay as combat so look forward to both! New players are just as welcome as experienced ones. If you are interested and/or have questions, post below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
I would love to join your game. I have very little experience with 5E but I'm not new to rpg. I have played since 3.5 and i play Pathfinder as well. I do have two ideas for some interesting characters. One is a Sorcerer who thinks she is a Wizard. She carries a picture book/spell/book and her familiar is a guinea pig named  Jesabell. My other is a gnome Illusionist that loves to play pranks and tell stories to children. In fact that's how He makes his living telling stories in taverns or town squares with the help of his illusion spells. Funny thing is most see him as a child themselves so most people don't take him seriously. Hope to hear form you.
I'm still looking for a couple players if anyone is interested!
EST is my timezone, perfectomundo. Gimme a message if you're cool with it. I've got lots of experience with basically all DND. :D
Hey - relatively new player here, but I'm interested! I'm new to Roll20, but I've played lots of one-shots, and have done mostly 4e and 5e. I have character ideas I'm hoping to try out and this seems like a good campaign for them. I'm on Mountain Standard Time, but free when the campaign is scheduled. Message me to let me know!
Ian here, I'm fairly experienced player and DM looking for a good light-toned game to join! The timeslot is great, and I know just the character I'd go for: a Duergar Oath of the Crown Paladin, straight out of SCAG. Grey Dwarves are heavily bureaucratic, so the backstory would be that he is a literal lawyer who wants to start up his own clan/business (his old one kicked him out after he lost too many court cases), and he needs as much money as he can get to do it. Since making big money involves big risks and intelligence isn't his best stat, he has taken it upon himself to uphold law and order as a paladin to justify beating the crap out of unruly hooligans as an adventurer and "confiscating" their money. Hence, he has traveled far to find some "business partners" (our more-or-less capable party) to strike a deal with. Expect shenanigans. If that isn't what you're looking for, then I got some other fun ideas too. All in all, I look forward to working with you if you invite me!
Hello :) Fairly new to D&D and would love to join up. I am EST so the time works perfectly.
