LFP - Star Wars Wars 2E R&E/Starting two groups

The Star Wars D6 G+ community has been hosting a number of games and is looking to expand. We are looking to create two additional gaming groups. Star Wars Adventures! Thursday Night Table : Thu-Dec-5@8:30 PM CST, GAME CLOSED Star Wars Adventures! Friday Night Table : Fri-Dec-13@8;30 PM CST, GAME CLOSED Adventures will be set during the Rebellion Era approximately six months after the destruction of the first Death Star yet before the construction of Echo base on Hoth. The format will be individual adventures with overlapping plots and a metaplot tying everything together. We will be using " Star Wars the Roleplaying Game Revised & Expanded " by West End Games. Games will be hosted through Google hangouts using the Roll20 applet. There will be few maps as the majority of the game will be played in the "theater of the mind". Characters may be created from any of the templates (p.266-285) in the main rule book or using the character creation rules (p.30-33). Force Users and their allies are very rare and are hunted down without mercy by Lord Vader and the Imperial Inquisitorus. Only equipment from the main book may be used. Pregenerated characters will be made available. Those without access to the rules can start with the " Star Wars QuickStart Rules ". Joes A. we are playing "Star Wars the Roleplaying Game Revised & Expanded" by West End Games. This is not the same game as "Edge of the Empire" by Fantasy Flight Games.

As of this time, all slots are filled for these two gaming groups. Those who joined will have been contacted by private message. Thanks to all those who showed interested but did not make the cut off. In the future, if people quit I will contact those who showed interest this time around first then post again. Character Tuesday: a fully fleshed out and ready to play character. Some time we offer up a unique NPC. Rumor Wednesday: a one or two line rumor that you can use for flavor in your game or use for the basis of an adventure. Planet Thursday: a fleshed out planet for the Star Wars universe. Shooting Womp Rats Podcast: a 30-45 minute weekly podcast discussing the goings on in the Star Wars D6 community with lots of advice and answers to posted questions. I have no issue teaching you but I need some effort on your part. At the very least you MUST read the " Star Wars QuickStart Rules ". After that if you have any questions I will be happy to help. Also you will need to go over to the G+ community and the events page and mark your wanting to attend that event on that day.

My friend also would like to join but we would be using the same computer is that ok?

Thursday the 12th would not be a good day to play. Perhaps watch and learn the game and the interface. As for two people on the same computer playing? I don't think I would have an issue with that, but I do unfortunately have only one slot open. Now if the other guy does not show, then I will have two. So basically, one slot open, maybe two, 12th would be best to lurk, start on the 23rd.

Ok do you have a link to a character sheet? also what are my options as far as what I make? It seems similar to WoD dice pool system so I will pick it up easy but my friend on the other had she has never played a role playing game before so we will lurk on the 12.

I create character sheets in Google Docs. Here is what I have on the character sheets is listed at the bottom. The dice pool mechanics are somewhat similar to WoD, if you have read the " Star Wars QuickStart Rules ", a very quick read of six pages, you will note that there are no successes. It is totals. There is only one exploding dice, referred to as the Wild Die. Do you run/plan on running euro tz games? this is great system and i would like to play it.

I have been toying with running, what for me would be a day game. So depending on the TZ I could actually run something. I am GMT-5 (CST/CDT, midwest United States). I prefer to GM in 2 1/2 to 3 hour blocks. I cannot play past 1500 CST. So I could start a game easily at 1000 CST. How does that figure into your schedule?
