Agent Felix Kaligulah

How is Felix responding to the arrival of the endless ones and losing mythic? Heartbroken. It was all just so much for Felix to take in. Everything seemed like it was happening so fast… From the arrival of the Endless Ones to watching them siege Eloda, both surprised, crushed, and gave Felix a vengeful sense of hatred. As much as he wanted to stay and fight, Felix had to leave Eloda for the greater good. It is now his personal mission to find a way to stop the Endless Ones from winning, even if it means temporary allying with Carvex. Speaking of Carvex, in order to enter the Well of Souls, we had to “team up” with him and let him take our mythic powers away. The loss of Felix’s mythic abilities don’t really effect him that much, since he only had mythic powers for a brief period of time. It would be a cool thing to have once again; however, already having years of experience as an agent, Felix can make due perfectly fine without his mythic powers.

Long ago (about 78 years to be precise), A man and a woman were trying to have a kid. They could not. The best doctors in all of the lands confirmed this. It was discovered that the Pharaoh of Eloda was sterile, and could not have kids. So, being the wealthy, wise, and all-powerful man that he is -- the Pharaoh spent much time obtaining the one thing he knew would be the surefire way to allow him to have a child of his own -- a wish. He used this to wish for a son. Thus, by the wonky powers of a wish, 9 months later he got exactly what he wished for! A son! Except, it wasn’t really his son. His wife gave birth to a baby Tiefling. The spawn of some extraplanar demon. Being the optimistic, “good-willed,” people that they are, the couple named this… child… Felix, in hope that good luck will follow this poor soul throughout his life. However, there would be public outrage if it was discovered that the heir to the throne of Eloda was half-demon. Therefore, Felix was raised in secret. Something had to be done with his life. Felix couldn’t live his life in the unknown shadow of his parents forever. When Felix became of age, the Pharaoh offered him a position. The Pharaoh wanted Felix to work for the Elodan Intelligence Agency (ⲈⲒⲀ), where he will be trained to become an Agent. The Pharaoh gave Felix a fake identity so he can successfully register for ⲈⲒⲀ, and live his life as a normal person in Eloda. Felix Kaligulah was the name inscribed on his scroll. Felix outperformed most individuals in the basic training stage, with remarkably high scores centered around skills with finesse and marksmanship. After the training stage came combat concentration and intelligence. This is where Felix was able to specialize in marksmanship, and hone his combat skills to perfection. The intelligence stage is where one learns the true skills to become an Agent. Wits, determination, cunning, espionage, assassination, and deception. The true qualities that allows an Agent to gather intel and complete any mission. (They’re basically James Bond-style spies). Upon graduating (which for Felix involved going undercover on a drug trafficking network, undermining, and apprehending the Head Baltagiya (I’ll go into this in another writing)), Felix was promoted to Agent, and was assigned to team ⲒⲀ-6. A friend of his from the initial stage also made it to team ⲒⲀ-6. Aula Tessaria is her name. She’s an Elven Magus from the Caero District in Eloda. So for many years Felix, Aula, and the rest of their team ran many missions and achieved high honors for keeping Eloda a safe and prosperous place to live. All of the teams do the same core tasks; however, teams 3 and 5 are mostly intelligence related and tend to analyze data, whereas teams 2 and 6 tend to do more of the dirty work. For this reason, teams 2 and 6 are nicknamed Ditaeon (Deployed in the Ass End of Nowhere). Finally, teams 1 and 4 are more guard-oriented, and do a lot of protection / escorting. Missions for the agency are actually not very common. It seems maybe every few months or so a new mission would be assigned. As scarce as these missions are, they could last quite some time before they reach completion. Longest mission on record was from team ⲒⲀ-1 and it took around 2 and a half years to complete. With all of this downtime, Felix was quite bored. So to make a little extra gold, he came up with an idea. Why not start a business of his own? Felix had always wanted to own a tavern! He knew he wouldn’t be able to run it on his own, so he brought the idea up to his good friend Aula (by this time, it’s obvious to the others that Aula and Felix are romantically involved), and asked her help found this new business. Thus, after much property hunting, they struck a great deal with an aging Gnome who wanted to sell a piece of property in the market district. Several hired hands and deals with local breweries later, The Mithril Blade (Named after Aula’s sword)had its grand opening. Booming business and instant popularity filled The Mithril Blade with lots of people, lots of alcohol, and lots of good times. Everything in Felix’s life was going in a great direction. One nasty day some time ago, an alert went out to all agents through the AEMS (Arcane-Encrypted Messaging System). The headquarters of ⲒⲀ-6 caught fire and was destroyed by the raging inferno. Being the master of stealth Felix is, he forwarded an idea up the chain. Turn The Mithril Blade into ⲒⲀ-6’s next HQ. “Hiding in plain sight,” was what he said. Late in the night the following week, 4 of the greatest Elodan mages came to begin preparations for the construction of ⲒⲀ-6. They set up many magical wards and protections, and created a vast underground complex beneath the Mithril Blade. Within several days, ⲒⲀ-6 was once again fully operational. On a fateful morning, A peculiar warship appeared over the skies of Eloda. Many ships come and go from Eloda, but no ship such as this has ever arrived here before. Suddenly the beeping of the AEMS drew Felix’s attention. “A rogue warrior exploded out of the warship and dropped into the market district. This rogue warrior is on a flesh-hungry frenzy. Any nearby Agents are ordered to apprehend this individual, and if necessary, kill it...”
The friend Rory would kill for (who's a friend of mine too) made a 5 minute painting of Felix.
