[LFP] Grounded Dark Survival Sci-Fi/Space RPG

Hello Players! I'm a GM of 25+ years of experience looking for players to form a tight knit group on board a seed ship fleeing a dead planet into the Ember Sector as it rises from the ashes of a fallen galactic empire. PCs will need to be proactive and engage the world around them because there are no "quest givers" sitting in a tavern (or cantina) waiting for "heroes." Peoples, organizations, governments etc. will react realistically with their own motivations and goals. The game will be very grounded dealing with dark mature themes of a hard life and should be RPed in a realistic way. This won't be a space adventure with silly voices type of game for fame & loot. I'm looking for players that have a strong desire for heavy and deep RP along with tactical thinking. What I mean by this is staying in character as much as possible. If you are "speaking at the table" it will be considered as in character. As one person put it I'm looking for players that want to RP reality and not RP fantasy. Example: You are playing in a world where the word "zombie" never existed. The lore, pop culture, etc about zombies was never made nor invented. With this in mind players should treat these "walking dead"/"infected" people in a realistic way. Someone being bitten wouldn't make your character think they will turn. These would be horrifying and unnerving shambling terrors. What it is NOT: Example: Your team is ambushed and the players "pause the game to discuss tactics on how to deal with it" then jump back in game to continue combat. Players would want to RP reality not fantasy. I understand this won't be for everyone and that is OK. But for this campaign to succeed each person at the table will need to share these preferences and be invested in the subtle nuances of deeper characters struggling to live with their choices...because your choices WILL have consequences. __________________________ GAME TIME : Fri days 6pm-9pm PST Campaign Length : 10-15 session "seasons" then a break. Setting : Stars Without Number Scream Event Only / Homebrew Locations (No Empire) System : Threshold - 2d6 Skill based resolution system. Age Limit: Must be 21+ years old . If interested in joining or for more information on the setting please click on the link: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/74247/dark-spac... Thx for stopping by, -Keaggan
Oh wow this sounds so damn good. Fits my play style to the letter. BUT I couldn't do every Friday. If you wouldn't mind the occasional popping in or even lurking I'd be interested.
+1 on interest, but if I converted the time correctly (I'm in Central time) this would be early morning and I can't do that.

Sadly I still can't make it because I'm already in a game at that time (unless it falls through).
Times are the one part that isn't really flexible unfortunately. I can only run games when I have get some free time outside of work and family :)
Keaggan is a solid GM who takes his work seriously guys. So if you're looking for a good game, take the time to speak to him and consider signing on. I couldn't make the game, but he's a solid individual.
