[LFG] Newbie to Roll20 and D&D looking to have fun, learn, and play!

Hello, Roll20, I'm Amber but I often go by Dahlia or Jere. I've been engaged in text-based RP for over a decade and will be turning 27 this year. My experience ranges from Kingdom Hearts to my more recent fandom of Hannibal where I RP and also write fanfiction. I've always been writing be it really bad poetry in my youth to attempting to create my own fiction, which brings me here to the present. A friend of mine introduced me to Critical Role and I soon fell in love with D&D. Another friend lent both 4e and 5e edition stuff that I am still reading. My post here is because I am a new member on both Roll20 and in the D&D experience. I am not versed in using Roll20 or the rules and procedures of D&D. I would love to join a group willing to teach and be patient with me. I am an eager and fast learner. I do work 3 days a week, 12-hour shifrs at a hospital but am free on work days after 8 EDT until 12 EDT.  I would love a group that met weekly or more. I have character ideas and experience creating characters to play.  I'm very happy to have found this place and am excited to play and learn and make friends and a stable D&D group. I am most familiar with 5e and have both Skype and Discord. THANK YOU ALL! -Amber
What sort of settings would most interest you? Or what sort of characters would you prefer to play?
Hey there amber. I'm one of the DMS for the living guild campaign. We are a community of 20 dms and 100 players that play D&D 4E here on roll 20. We would be happy to show a new roleplayer the ropes and the campaign is very laid back so you can play as much or little as you want. It is designed to work with people that have crazy nurse schedules.  If you want more info send me a contact request on Skype at gravymattingly.
