Wow. This seems like both a really awesome game type and very, very dark which is also awesome. I've only played Pathfinder, 3.5, 4e, Gamma World and Warhammer Fantasy so I don't know if I have the long history of different games that you're looking for in a player. Would each player be a toy that their child brought to life? or would it be more like toy story were one child has many toys? When you said ...unfortunately imagination also bring about the denizens of the dark to take the child as a life force how will you protect her/him... Did you mean that they took to child to consume or use their life force, or were you meaning that as a life force how will you protect your child? I do have skype and I am 26 so at least I fit those criteria ;). I'd be very interested in this campaign. Currently weekends work best for me but depending on the time and day during the week might also work.
each player takes a toy and is that toy brought to life yes, also you hit the nail on the head when you said dark, yes the idea of this game is to have darker themes, the deniznes themselfes will be based on more traditional things that go bump in the night IE poltergeists gremlins deamons and the ilk. not to mention the adults in game can play a large factors each with there own stats and life styles in game with rolls dictating there chaoices. there will be times where there sainity can come into question if the players are unable to slow the creature from slowly taking over the reality of the house itself, Father might have a shinning moment who knows? Is he an alcholic is he a workaholic is he brave, a neat freak? these things must be taking into account to know there next move as apposed to the dm making it for them based on merit
