AD&D 2nd Edition - Seasoned Gamers

We have a standard game in progress ... however .... We are planning on "rebooting" in the new year. Looking to players to join our current game and to talk about what we would like to do going into 2015. What APIs to use... What do we need to add in... Who wants to play which classes and which races.. What classic modules (if any) do we want to play... CO-GM part of the campaign? All of the campaign? Join us to play these last Sundays of the 2013. can't join, not authorized. I've DMed since 1977. I mostly run 2e Black Book. I have the books plus core rules and CR 2.0 on CD-rom. I can do sundays. Looking to play, if possible. Could DM a few, perhaps. Mostly roleplayer / Narrative style. If this is power gamers and min-max, Sorry I'm not gonna be able to add to it.

We are really balanced in our play... we don't power game, however if I need to "save" and the roll is close I might flip a few pages to see if I forgot that last +1 I need. And we like a good dungeon crawl, however we also do like good a campaign story arc. Sent you a PM.

I'm interested, never actually played AD&D but a own the book, i played D&D 3.5 and pathfinder so no learning necessary, just re-reading the book should be enough,

right on. Pits? Man, tough adventure. almost a TPK, because of the things in the garden. Side convo: We got a lot of players... wanna make this a multi-game guild sort of setup? I'm recruiting for 2e Birthright rules, but "homebrew" setting. Maybe starting Sat 21 december. 3 PM EST. We have not discussed me playing or running, So I'm tossing it out there. I have all the books for plus core rules 1 and 2 on CD-rom for Black book edition 2e. Working on the history and maps. I put notices up on other guys "looking for a (2e, or any) DM" threads. one guy has expressed interest. Willing to teach new guys, too.

We have a core group of four... and due to schedules Sundays 2:00PM eastern is our set time. However, I am a bit more flexible and actively working on 1E/2E API scripts (weather, language, tables, record sheets, inventory system.... etc) willing to share and co-create with anyone... we should schedule time to work through any resource sharing we can do.
