Implementation of a game?

Hi guys, my name is Mark, Im currently building a dark fantasy card game, Im heavily concideringer using roll20 as the digital platform for release. I will in all honesty say, I don't know enough about what roll20 can or cannot do, so I just thought I'd ask: my game consists of 6 decks in total, five that are of 60 cards and one that is 40, it uses plain old d6 dice, a 4 game pieces at most, would I be wrong to assume roll20 would be able to handle to handle that many parts, objects or what ever you'd wanna call it? the game would also contain round about 200 fully rendered art pieces. Here's a little art teaser: the Game itself is a 2-4 player game. If there is a particular "how to" I've missed, maybe Im posting in the wrong section or if i'm overstepping here, I apologize, nevertheless I would still love to talk to some one :)

That sounds great. I think that you can implement your game in Roll20. Every feature that you mentioned above is available in Roll20. Almost any type of game like that, which can be played at your tabletop at home, could be built on the virtual tabletop of Roll20. Because your game is very card-deck dependent, I think that the options for Decks are the most important area to read and test for your game needs. The wiki documentation has information about all aspects of Roll20. Here is a direct link to the Decks wiki, https://wiki.roll20.net/Collections#Card_Decks Others from the community may come along to add tips and answers. What Gold said. It will probably come down to what sort of mechanics your game uses for the decks. If you're deck building from those 6 decks, you might run into some issues. If all the cards go in a player's hand and they choose from there which to play at any given point, you'll be ok. If you can go into more details about what operations you would perform with the cards, we can give you a good idea what is and isn't possible on Roll20.

Thanks for the replies. This game does not Include any deck building in particular :), People will have both cards on the table and in "hand", some cards will form the game environment. everyone are playing from the same decks. Turns nested within rounds, that sorta thing.

Should work just fine then. =D Cards from multiple decks can be grouped separately: Or together: Be sure your cards are the same size to avoid weirdness with layout. =D Note that by default, the card backs with the number of cards from each deck is shown to all players, but you can turn that off in the settings for each deck.
There are cards of different size, but they occupy fairly different Playwise locations. so it shouldn't matter that much :)
