Hey I have a bunch of PCs I made up specifically in roll20 but I am not sure if there is a way to get pdf or other forms of them outside of roll20. This includes D&D5e and Call of Cthulhu. Any advice or am I stuck just rewriting them?
Probably screenshotting them is your only option. There is a suggestion for external viewing and similar in the suggestions forum. They talked about the possibility of providing pdf printing in the most recent Dev Chat: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141375954
I have had good luck popping out the character sheet window, choosing print, and printing to pdf. It's a little tricky to get linebreaks down nicely, but if you just want the record, that should work.
Yeah, I would have attached a sample copy if Roll20 allowed uploading PDFs. It's useful if you need a hard copy, or to email to someone who is not in a place where they can easily log in. Or if, like my crowd, they are hoary, grizzled technophobes.
