AreasofEffect API script question

First time attempting to use an API script... i believe i'm following the instructions correctly, but when i place the aoe icon and draw the line, then use the macro to save the name of that effect, i get a message that reads: "(From Areas Of Effect ERROR:): O. Only images that you have uploaded to your library can be used as custom status markers. See <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/API:Objects#imgsrc_and_avatar_property_restrictions" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/API:Objects#imgsrc_and_avatar_property_restrictions</a> for more information." &nbsp;Which sadly makes no sense because the icon i'm using is most certainly in my library. &nbsp;I bloody well bought the thing and it shows as in my purchases... i even 'saved' it to my library anyway, and so now it's in two places and the script still tells me i'm not allowed to use the image... so what am i missing? &nbsp;Do i need to save a line's image? &nbsp;That seems farfetched....

The API can only use images that you have uploaded yourself, not those which you have purchased. That's currently a restriction on all API scripts. The solution would be to do what you did, download and re-upload it - but be sure to choose the new, uploaded version for the script (so you need to re-place the icon using your re-uploaded version!). After you have done that, it ought to work.

This also includes the bonus token art you get as a Pro subscriber. So the wonderful Toasty Thaumaturgy items are not available.

Make sure you are dragging the copy that you uploaded to your library rather than the copy that is in your purchases.
