Hi there! I'm Joss, 27, and have played (and run) a couple short 5e D&D campaigns, but would really like to join one or two somethings with regular play-times and a long-term plot. I know the basic mechanics for 5e, and really love roleplaying, so mostly I'd like a group who don't mind cutting me some slack and helping when it comes to the mechanics, while focusing on plot & character development. In terms of availability, I'm free roughly any night after 6pm EST on the weekdays and the weekends. That's a very broad schedule, and subject to change thanks to the joys of shift work, but in general I'm looking for evening timeslots. I'd like to play a game with a weekly or maybe bi-weekly schedule. I'm happy to play pretty much any class or alignment for my character-- I've got a couple rough ideas myself, but I'm happy to fill a need in a party. I'd like an opportunity to create a lot of backstory, or future plot hooks, that sort of thing. I'm really interested in collaborating on my character to make sure she's a good fit for both the group and the campaign itself. I have more experience doing freeform writing and roleplaying, and it's my primary interest in a campaign. I'd like an LGBT+ friendly campaign and group, of hopefully just chill people. Mostly I'd just like to have fun and make some new friends! I have Discord, Skype, and Telegram, and am happy to install other programs as needed for communication / game-playing needs.
