New to DnD, and I would love a chance to play more!

Alright, so I have only played DnD a few times, and I loved it. Sadly, I live in a small town (very small) and it's next to impossible to find experienced players to play with, and hopefully teach me a few things. I am semi-familiar with 3.5, and am open to either sticking to that or branching out. I would LOVE to find a group of people to play with, gain some experience in the game (hah!), and hopefully get to where I can DM my own games. I do have a lvl 10 bard, and I think he was even created correctly :) So, anyone out there willing to take on a new player while he is learning the ropes?

I have a game of dnd 4e going on, on Saturdays at or after 6pm est. We are lvl 2 right now.

Saturdays....I think I can give that a go. What classes do you have/need?
