Hello, I was hoping to see more about this on the forums but didn't come across anything so I thought I would post a suggestion. I would love more development on the Campaign side of things. This is really more coding then game play but I think could be additional value to being a subscriber vers a free account. My suggestions is to put something in place like Obsidian Portal that allows the GM to build out his/her campaign and allows the players or new player to the campaign to catch up or see whats been going on. I found enough value that I pay for both only because I have not really been happy with Roll20. If I could get Roll20 to do something similar it would allow me to keep everything within Roll20 so that I don't need to manage both. This has also been very helpful for doing things out of game, listing the player character sheets, tracking equipment, showing maps and many more. This should be something easily doable without very little impact to the game play of Roll20. I hope I have done a good enough job at trying to explain this and that others see the value as I do. Sirjohn
Ok so I actually looked at one of the top campaigns ( <a href="https://heroesunchained.obsidianportal.com/" rel="nofollow">https://heroesunchained.obsidianportal.com/</a> ) and DANG that looks so exciting! My last campaign used google docs for keeping track of stuff like that, but it would be much more awesome if it was integrated and snazy like that, since it seems like it'd be useful to anyone, regardless of campaign type. You can do much of this via the Campaign Details threads. My own campaigns use them as a way to update the players etc.
Except that for the amount we pay Campaign details are a bit lacking. I use both roll20 and Obsidian portal, paying for both. I think a lot of people here do.

Could you clarify what is lacking? The list that SirJohn provided can pretty much all be done right now or when Rugged Reroll goes live on December 16th. Character Sheets can be viewed outside of the campaign on the Campaign Details page. Maps can also be viewed if you load them into a handout of the campaign details forum.
Hello Gauss, Obsidian portal allows us to really do a lot of customization that just cant be done with Roll20. Right from the start I can create a custom view to my portal based off my game (see example link). <a href="https://don-t-look-back-keep-running.obsidianportal.com/" rel="nofollow">https://don-t-look-back-keep-running.obsidianportal.com/</a> I can link items, objects, and characters within my journal or forum. Really nice to keep the campaign alive with new players coming in and out. I like to upload maps and other information that can help the players. If roll20 us able to do this I will be happy to review this again but didnt see it when I started with Roll20 and unless its happened recently I don't think Roll20 has this kind of feature. Now saying all this I'm not beating up on Roll20 as I don't think this was one of the major focal points for Roll20. They do what they do well. I'm hoping that this information will provide some value and make Roll20 more then just a system but a one stop shop for gamers to go. Thanks, Sirjohn
Hello Gauss, Can you point me to a roll20 site that is done up like Obsidian Portal? I was hoping that the updates might have some changes for us to add content to our page but no such luck. Thanks, Sirjohn
roll20 campaign tools journal does not show attributes tab. A lot of what sirjohn said. I like the look, feel and flavor of the wiki style pages of obsidian portal.
