As the Interview is today: Thread closed, everyone, thank you very much for participating :) Warning: The GM (me) of this campaign is a woman but the 3 current other players are all men. I would love to have some diversity in the group apart from me and my NPCs. Never feel like you can't speak up if you are annoyed, hurt or even triggered by something. Please. Seriously. *friendly nudge* Onto the ad itself. First off the short basic infos for the impatient: - We are playing on roll20 + Teamspeak (no one has camera, but voice is a must) - We are playing Mondays and Thursdays with Thursdays being optional and variable depending on the players - We play for five hours, sometimes more if we need to wrap something up - We are looking for 2 players, one of them a rogue and one playing any of the Core or Base classes from here ( <a href="http://www.d20pfsrd.com/home" rel="nofollow">http://www.d20pfsrd.com/home</a> ) that are not in play yet or conflict role-wise with another player character - We currently have a Lawful Neutral Elven Ranger (5), a Lawful Good Dwarven Cleric (5) and a Lawful Neutral Halfling Sorcerer (4). - This is an ongoing campaign, new characters will start at level 3 1/2 (to give an advantage to the older characters as they have put a lot of time into this). - We are not using some Pathfinder rules, f.e. we won't be rolling for stats and we don't use most of the combat modifiers, basically streamlining things. Houserules can be found in the listing (will unlock in about an hour of this post, <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9137/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9137/</a> ) - The Interview & Character creation session will be on Monday, the 16th of December (gametime). - The first day for the new players to actually start playing will probably be on the 6th of January so that players have their Christmas break :) (the date can of course be discussed if new arrivals can't make it) Recently we lost a great player to real life (so yes, he still likes us) and with the group now shrunk to 3 we are recruiting again to fill the ranks. I accept oldtimers as well as newcomers, any experience level is completely fine as long as you are able to stay in character (or actor stance). The campaign is played on roll20 of course - voicechat on a Teamspeak server, video on roll20 for those that want it (no one has right now though). The campaign has been going on for 23 sessions (usually twice a week, but sometimes only once depending on the players) with each session taking about 5 hours and consisting of a lot of character interaction and character driven play in actor stance. Sometimes 4 sessions go by without any combat at all, sometimes the party will be in a larger dungeon for 2 sessions. In any case, The world itself is pretty much classic fantasy with (hopefully) a few essential differences like my own pantheon - mostly to keep things a bit simpler, really. My GMing preference is heavily on the story, npcs, moral quandaries, puzzles and mysteries side of things. Combat will mostly be optional and I reward and prefer roleplaying before dicerolling. I improvise a lot. On the players' side, I need your characters to have motivations of their own and seek out what they want in my world. If they sit around doing nothing, nothing will happen. We are working on this together, not against each other :) Infighting/discussions (in-character) are awesome and character-play is a must. If your character would disagree with something, disagree. If your character would do something, do it (or try to, anyway). Don't assume success or failure with anything. Party conflict can absolutely happen and will definitely be played out every time it happens if it happens. I can't stress enough how important the characters are in this campaign. The game is sandbox-like and character driven, the GM provides the world, npcs (and their motivations/goals/fears) and of course (hopefully) interesting scenarios as well as an overarching plot. The world will usually react somewhat realistically. All of this will inevitably make the game feel very slow for the action-loving types, so if you are not into that, don't apply. If you have read all the available information and are interested or have any questions, send me a pm or post here (include what colour is your favorite and why to prove that you did indeed read this and yes this is the first weeding out point... :) ) and I will send you the Teamspeak information with the date of the Interview once more.
I'm trying to get into D&D as a new player, I have my character in mind and I Have an entire (Lengthy) Backstory already drawn up. and this sounds very much like what I'm looking for! a creative story based Session. My Character would be a Human Paladin, so it is one of the core base classes. I also have a friend who may be interested In playing, (female) and she is also extremely creative. I don't know what her class prefrence and such may be however. I am available on mondays for sure. but i do work on thursdays, so I CAN be there, but it would have to be later in the day, closer to 9PM my time. Let me know if there is any interest in a new player ^.^

- You missed a test somewhere in the OP. No I won't tell you where. - Time: we have one player who is still in school so midnight gmt +1 is pretty much as late as he can go (usually), at least if there is a test in the same week. We can change the second day to something other than Thursday as long as there is always a day in between the two and its fine with the others. - Characters: Paladin sounds fine with me, though that would mean that your friend would have to play a rogue as unfortunately that is the only class imo that a party really always needs (other than a healing-capable class). Would she be happy (not fine, mind you) with that? There is lots of time until the 16th, so check with her on that. Those are the issues I see, let me know if something can be worked out there on your side. :)

what races are allowed, and which are forbidden? Also, my favorite color is red because it is the color of passion. I'm a 31 year old man and am interested in playing a Fighter/Barbarian. I'm not always the best at backstories but I will do my best.
Core races mostly, though I would judge that by a case by case basis - for example, we had a Drow and Orc as characters before. No half-anythings, though as humans are in a bit of a different situation in this campaign. Would that be a fit, Mathew?

How much starting gold are we allowed? Other than that, its fine.

That would be discussed with everyone, but right now I am thinking about 300 gp (yes, its low :) ).
Alright I'll work on a character real quick and get back to you.
Ah! my favorite color is blue because I love blue. :P
hey mouse!, hope all is going good, have fun and good luck finding people.
AAAAnd done .
Looks fine to me and a barbarian could be fun though it would obviously have to be tweaked in order to work in the campaign. I will send a pm with the Teamspeak details your way for the Interview day.
As the title says I'm a first time player and don't know THAT much about table top gaming if anything I've been interested but never got the chance, so I was wondering maybe you'd let me join show me the ropes? I have some basic understanding from console rpg's like dragon age origins and Skyrim but that's it
Hi Shayden - sorry for the late reply, just got out of bed basically. I am happy to work with any experience level but the issue is that you missed a test in the OP. Try again.
I would love to join the party, possibly as a Gnoll Barbarian. I'll try to find more concepts I'm interested in, but that's the most likely one. On an unrelated note, my favorite colour is black, just because I prefer it to others. Can't explain it, really.
Thanks for your interest, Draikor - I'll send a pm your way :)

My favorite color is dark purple. I wouldn't mind playing a rogue again. I'm going to go ahead and make one up with 3rd lvl wealth since I've yet to see you specify in either posting on character creation. <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=</a>... Sefka the Windowman
Favorite color would have to be green (sage green to be more specific). If you're still looking for another player I would be interested in playing a rogue (never have before) or whatever else is needed for the party to be balanced.
Greetings fellow adventurers! I'd like to trow my hat to the mix as well if there's still some place. Favorite color : red (prefer contrast of red with black trim or black with red trim). Character wise I'd like to play conspiracy crazed zealot Inquisitor.

Hey there. Semi-experienced Pathfinder player (~2 years experience) and would love to play in this group. Probably going for some kind of human sorceror of the Lawful persuasion. Favorite color is almond since it is the color of aged bones, and skeletons are the best. e: Should mention, won't need too much help on the character gen as a result of experience and all that, can also help others putting their's together.
<a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=</a>... Leafenstein Proudengrave the paladin My recent PF dnd just quit on me so i would like to join this group. This is a new character(never played a pally), but if you want to see my other one he is a lvl 4 fighter
Sent pms to people, and @Andrew: Denied for now, unfortunately you missed something of a tiny test in the first post.
Hey Mouse, my favourite color is black, as I like the night. I would sure be interested, but I don't fit on of your criteria. I'm male and 24 years old. Other than that, I could make it on the sixth of January. I'm fluent in english, but there is room to improve. PM me, if a slot is still open. Experienced with DSA, Pathfinder, AD&D 2e. Free on every day except tuesday. Kind regards Taran

I'm very interested in joining this group. First of my favorite colour is deep purple. Usually in combination with black. :) Monday nights is somewhat of an open day for me now and going forward in the future. Thrusday will not until at least end of januar due to evening school from 18.30 GMT+1 to 22.00 GMT+1. I'd be fine with playing either a Rogue or rolling something else up. I'm pretty new to pathfinder overall but I do have plenty of experience in DnD 4e and other systems. After reading the core rulebook and other things I find the pathfinder system a little better RP wise. (allows for bigger character variations) Edit: so to keep myself a bit busy i've made a character. It's a Kitsune Rogue named Genma . Just click the link to his mythweaver and discover his quickly made background. I've made this background with the Ultimate campaign character background builder. (I used the human template for parents and siblings and Unusual home as default, it gave for an interesting background that I'll start writing up tommorow) It also gives me access to traits and I do not know in how far you support these. Of course I use the ones I unlocked with my background etc. Do note I wrote a message in your rule thread asking for elaboration on character building. Please do answer the questions so I know if I still need to do some changes. Slashgate

Hiya Mouse! I am a 39 year old married male whose first experience playing D&D was just as 2e came out (we played a hodgepodge of the basic set and 1st edition.) Then my DM moved away. My next experience came about 20 years later with a few months playing 3.5e. Then that DM moved away. For the past 8 months or so I have played D&D 4E with my wife at Encounters and have even DMed 4 sessions of a beginner campaign here at home. I consider myself a total role-playing noob but I love it anyway! Pathfinder looks really interesting and I have poked around the PRD a couple times in the past few months. Your playing time matches my available time perfectly! If I did the math correctly, then GMT+1 is 10 am Pacific Standard Time. I am available both Monday and Thursday for at least 5 hours at that time. I have enjoyed pretty much every role I have played so far in the RPGs I have tried, but I think a fighter or paladin probably are my favorite so far. I'm willing to try anything however! Looking forward to chatting, GoldenBlue PS My favorite color is purple, because it's blue and red in one!
Hey there, another (hopefully) prospective applicant looking to join in. Looks like a perfect fit for me, including the times, so let me get right to it and give you a few points to consider should you still be looking for potential players for your campaign: 1) My favorite color is white. Come on, don't you remember always going for the white chocolate or piece of candy as a kid? 2) I'm very roleplay heavy, having near a decade's worth of experience in this particular department. I use the mechanics to augment my roleplay, usually, not the other way around - could be perfect or a deal breaker, depending on the type / style of DMing you do - which looks like a good match for my style of play! In it for the roleplay more than the mechanics, but that's not to say I can't enjoy both. 3) Monday and Thursdays are both coincidentally free days for me. I would be able to attend most (if not all) sessions with little to no trouble, save for the occasional badly timed issues we all seem to have to put up with from time to time. I think that's all I'll put in for now, not looking to pour my heart out here or anything. If you have questions or the likes, simply PM me here on Roll20, or skype me @ (avisber) without the brackets and I'll be able to reply ASAP. Cheers, hope to hear from you!
Hello there, I'm Zack, and i would love to join your game. I've played tabletop RPG's for about 2 years now, ranging from fallout to rouge trader and of course pathfinder. As of late I have not been playing much, my group is quite inconsistent with when we can meet. I am pretty proficient with character gen and would love to jump into a roll play heavy game. Also my favorite color is blue, its not a fancy color, but it is cool and relaxing.
Hey Zack, I'll send you a pm and if you want you can show up to the Interview tonight. Other than that: Thread closed, everyone, thank you very much for participating :)
