Looking for a GM System - Mouse Guard Time - PST; Sunday, Monday, Friday Who - I'm a player Experienced role-player, own the Mouse Guard RPG but have not played it before.
Hey name-brother: are you interested in trying Burning Wheel? (the system mouse guard is based on) If so, hit me up! I am looking to make some inroads on here for BW play.
I'm up for Mouse Guard. If I'm reading you right, you need a GM? I'm up for running it. I've read Mouse Guard so I know the themes and world. I don't know the rules inside and out, but from what I know it's a fantastic system. You have the rules on .pdf? I usually GM and love doing so.
I'm also free M/W/F though Mondays are best.
Sounds fun, drop me an private message and we can talk. Never played but I've read through a part of one of the visual novels
Hey all, sorry for the late response, Christmas craziness. Shaun, name-brother, my preference is for a Mouse Guard RPG. Mouse Guard - Yep need a GM (not that I wouldn't like to try it), have a mentor account in the family. Shawn
I have been reading up on Mouse Guard, and I'd love to GM. (The library has all the books. I checked 3 out today and already read 2.) I have a few ideas for the game. I might change the setting slightly so that some animals are just wild beasts and a few are sentient. But maybe not.
Shaun is already in another campaign with BW and can't join in, haven't heard back from Liberation.
Time to start the press ganging.
Still looking, I'm browsing through other forums for possible players. It seems best if you can Cameron that you'd get the RPG book, is that possible?
Shawn, I did not see an LFG listing for anything by searching "Mouse Guard". If you've actually set up a Mouse Guard campaign on roll20, you might want to make sure that it has an active LFG listing. I've played and run Mouse Guard, and it's a wonderful system. It would probably work well on roll20. I might be up for running a session or two, but nothing overly long-term (I already have a regular Dungeon World game going, and it's hard to find the time). I also already have a dormant Mouse Guard campaign set up here on roll20: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/104726/mouse-guard If there's interest, let's get a game going. Mouse Guard works best with 3 players + GM, but can be fun with 2 or 5 + GM as well.

I am interested as a player not as a GM (yet), a short session would be a good way to be introduced to the system if you are interested in GMing. I believe Cameron would play with the idea that he would GM later. I also have a contact on Google+ who is looking for a group. Please let me know if you would do a short session. FYI the campaign link is "not authorized" for me. Thanks Shawn

If this ever gets started up i would love to join. i have a character sheet ready for a patrol leader. So if the person GMing would like me to send it to them say so.
Am GMing. I'll start immediately. Checked out all the Mouse Guard books from the library to refresh my memory. I've got some campaign ideas brewing. I'd want to state as personal canon that all animals were originally created sentient, but with the possibility to fall and go feral. Losing their "humanity" as it were. They have no soul and are just dumb animals. They'll be monsters. And some animals haven't fallen, like almost all mice and weasel/stoat/ferrets. It'll be easy to tell which is which. It seems to make the world make more sense to me and allows for encounters and stories that seem more fun to me. I might just buy the game for $20. I found it illegally but I don't think I can justify stealing it.
Oh, and I love the Monty Python pic. It makes too much sense.
I'm a little confused Cameron it sounds like you don't have the RPG but have read the books for the lore. Is this right?
I have read the graphic novels for the setting and themes. I've not bought the RPG yet, but plan to before we get the game running.
So have you been working on a map? if you have how long you think in till its ready?
I have no map.
Okay. I began the campaign. We may begin at any time, though it'd be helpful to have players. Link is here: https://app.roll20.net/join/295917/uSxjRw
