GM IN NEED OF HELP

Let me start by saying I'm the worst map maker in the universe. With that being said I have seen GMs with loads of premade maps/battle maps. where can I get these type of maps for free? or even a easy to use map maker
What type of scenario? Huge number of Maps out on the web, even on the Wizards.com site. I tend to find a map I like and import it then resize as needed. Many of the DDM maps are out there too
which sites & where at?
just whereever. I find that you can use google to find just about any map you want, if you can't find anything in a general search for maps (with the tag dnd or vtt included) you can search for campaign cartographer and it will have a large selection there as well. just keep looking and find your sites that you prefer, you can almost guarantee to find some good sites with google.
http://pyromancers.com/dungeon-painter-online/ Not premade maps; but it might be worth mentioning. I've found this to be a very useful tool for making simple maps quickly. It can be a bit finicky, but works well with roll20. When exported as an image, set cell size to 70 and it will match perfectly with roll20's grid.
I find "pyro" hard to rescale to the size of the grid, always get miss placed lines.

g-lich , if you have difficulty with aligning any map to grid send me a PM and I can come take a look. Perhaps there is a way to do the pyro maps.
Gauss is the map-alignment guru; listen to this guy, he knows what he's talking about! Gauss Shows Us All The Way

Ok - here's what I do if I'm having trouble aligning a map with grid squares already on it... I turn off the grid in roll20. Yep. Easy as pie. Ruler still works. You can adjust the scale of the roll20 appropriately and Bobs your uncle!
I'm not worried about aligning maps I know how to do that in fact if the map already has a grid I just shut the grid off it works way better that way. I need to find maps or discover a noob friendly map maker

Paul , while that is a viable solution aligning your map only takes a minute once you get the hang of it and then you can use snap to grid. If you ever have trouble aligning a map let me know and I can come show you.

Thanks Gauss. I'll prolly eventually take you up on that offer. Right now just running one campaign at home and using roll20 as a great visual aid for the gamers. But - if I get a full-scale online game going - I'll prolly need help with it.
the ones on WOC are ok but Im looking for outside as well as inside grid or no grid theres gotta be some other free stuff I been using google with not much luck
Try these sites: http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/ (you'll have to to do keyword searches within the forum) http://rpgmapshare.com
In pyro when you click to export to .png or .jpg it has a box called "cell size in pixels" change that to 70 and it lines up perfectly. By the way you want to export to .jpg because of the smaller file size.
