Yesterday I started a bigger campaign with Roll20. The campaign will include any kind of adventure. Dungeon crawl, traveling, urban detective story ...
Dungeon crawl is pretty much covered by Roll 20. Our concerns are regarding the role play outside of dungeon crawls.
We already noticed that it is hard to see much on those small webcam windwos. Even with the option "large" set it does not fulfill our needs.
Then, for lag reason, we used Google hangout.
Would it be possible to include about the same functionality with TokBox? Having a list of small chat windows and a large, screen filling window, with the person who is currently speaking? Maybe we could also have the possibility (by user choice) to switch between Map modus (what we currently have) and a Video modus?
I think it would improve the role playing abilities of Roll20 since it would feel more like sitting on a table with all the players around.
I am sure that this would be a huge workload, so it is not a strong demand.
