so anyone wanna teach me how to play?

i donated at the GM level cause i really liked the project. but to be fair i have never played a game of dungeons and dragons. Anyone from Europe who would like to take me through an adventure?
I admire your bold leap into the unknown and would gladly take you through an adventure, but I live in Australia (not Europe–count the 'l's). Also I don't play Dungeons & Dragons specifically, but other RPGs—I'm not sure whether that matters, since some people use that name generically. Good luck finding someone in you time zone!
One of the things that makes roll20 so interesting for so many people is that it's not limited to just Dungeons and Dragons. It's very adaptable. If Fantasy isn't your thing, and there are a huge selection of options in Fantasy, there's plenty of Science Fiction games, Horror, western, mystery, and combinations of each of these. Personally I've been a D&D players for decades and it's always my fall-back game. I'm in the eastern US, so I'm at least 5, if not 6, hours behind you. But another cool thing about roll20 is that several of us can gather from anywhere. If we can find a couple of other people I'd be willing to GM a simple encounter of 4th Edition D&D, or even Basic D&D (quick to learn, and good introduction to the whole genre).

I'm looking to try this on a Monday or Tuesday evening (uk time)
Im going to be running an adventure. Very experienced GM, i live in a remote part of SW Australia, so i cant find members for my group. Id be willing to take new and veteran players on, and am fairly flexible as far as availability, so throw me a message with available times, genres or rulesets interested in, and experience and ill see if i cant get a game off the ground.
