Hey folks! Long time roleplayer here looking to scratch my itch. GURPS has completely ruined other systems for me, so I'm hoping to find a game of that, although I don't often see people advertising for it here.  I'm PST, and my available times are: Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 3am-7pm After 3am Before 2:30 pm All Before 2:30 pm All Before 2:30 pm --- --- After 6:30pm --- After 6:30pm --- --- As far as what I'm looking for in a campaign, most settings would be completely okay for me, so long as magic is available (as a theme; I don't know if I'd want to make a spellcaster per se). My current GURPS game is a hard sci-fi campaign, and I've really been wanting to play in a game where some of the more outlandish stuff was available, be that a supers campaign, interdimensional police force, or what-have-you. I also like to see a good amount of GM-to-individual-player interaction. Things like working a character's backstory into the plot, or little side plots pertaining to that character that can be RPed out between sessions. Things that make me feel the character is a part of the world, rather than part of the conglomerate creature that is 'the party'. As a player I'm an extremely involved and active roleplayer, taking a front seat in pretty much every conversation and interaction unless it doesn't make sense for my character. Every character I build is multi-faceted, designed to fit neatly into the setting and culture, and, more than anything else, be as interesting as possible (from a role-playing/storytelling standpoint). The thing I want most out of a campaign is interesting stories (though I would be lying if I said that a sense of progression and the flexing of my character's muscles do not appeal to me). One of my flaws is that after I decide on themes and mechanics for my characters, I optimize them quite a bit, and it is extremely hard for me to stop myself (I often pick extremely inefficient themes or mechanics, because I know after optimization they'll probably be on par with, or better than, the rest of the party). It's not that I want to be the strongest or derail the campaign, it's because building characters is like a logistics puzzle, and I like those a lot. I'm completely willing to work with the GM about handling or curbing any issues that may come up because of my optimizations. Thanks for reading my spiel, and if you have or are looking to start a game that more-or-less fits the description, send me a PM or post on this thread! I'll also take any questions you have for me in the same manner.
