Greetings, Adventurers!
I can see by the look in your eye that you're the type! You
know the type, the one in search of treasure and glory, of course! It
can be yours too; if you are brave enough, strong enough and cunning
enough, that is! What: The Sunless Citadel (5e)
When: Thursday, 6pm-9pm EST (-4 GMT)
This is a campaign that is focused for the new
and/or young player. My ten year old will be part of the party and will
set the content maturity level.
That means if you have never played a role playing game or
Dungeon & Dragons (5e) and want to learn, this is the game for you!
If you have a youngster that you want to introduce to the hobby, this is
the game for them! The story and pace will be set for players with no
prior experience. Questions will be encouraged.
Communication Requirement: Voice only. I may use video for myself, but not necessary for the players.
Allowable Material: Players Handbook (PHB). Any race, class
or background information found in the PHB is fair game to be used for
character creation. I will expect that the player has access to the
material and are familiar (i.e. must read the section) with the
information they use for their player character (PC). We will use the
standard set of scores (15,14,13,12,10,8) as published in the PHB for
ability scores (pg. 13).
We will play throughout the summer with the hope we'll finish the Sunless Citadel and be able to move on to the next adventure.
Expectations:
1) Have fun!
2) Learn how to play D&D. I would expect the first sessions
to be a lot of questions. I hope by the end of the summer we'll be
comfortable enough with the rules that we can jump right into the
session.
3) A family friendly environment. PG language and all ages appropriate behavior.
About your DM: I have been playing D&D for decades (since
the '80s!). I started playing the Fifth edition before the release,
during the playtests. I have ran many different campaigns for all types
of players. I've been on Roll20 since 2013 with nearly 1000 hrs of play.
I am a father of three (my 10 y/o is the oldest). I am retired from the
military and now pursuing my childhood dream of obtaining a graduate
degree. :P
I'm looking forward to teaching a new generation of players our wonderful hobby. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/79021/the-sunle...
