Probably not possible, but I am about to run traveller. The personnel character sheets are brilliant. But I would like to create some sheets for starships etc. Is is possible to have 2 styles of sheets in one campaign?  Just another thought..if it's not possible, how easy is it to add a tab on the current sheet for a ship characteristics...

Not currently, however you can comment on and vote for  Multiple Character Sheet Layouts . Some character sheets have implemented something like this within the sheet itself, such as D&D with an NPC "version" of the sheet, or the DFRPG sheet with the city sheet tabs.

Depending on the number of characteristics of a starship, you might be able to just add fields on the Attributes & Abilities Tab. Not ideal, and certainly a lot of work, but if you trick out one, you can probably use it as a template for others.
