Hello there, I'm a new-ish player to D&D (and Pathfinder). I've had a few adventures and have been introduced to the game(s), but I haven't had a chance to really learn it. I'm looking for a small group that might be willing (and patient) enough to teach me the mechanics. I own the PHB, but I'm a much more "hands-on" learner. If anyone is willing to DM a basic game (don't care if it's scripted from a book) to help me understand when to roll, why, and for what, I would be really grateful. I'm not really looking for anything long-term or deep, but I'm very open to the possibility of loving and running with the story we create. Making new friends and having an adventure is always a bonus. I have some characters already pre-created, ready for replacement stats on their character sheets. (All of them are Druids.) I'm also really shy, especially at first, so not much roleplay is likely to happen in the beginning until I warm up. (I also prefer to keep conversation to text/voice: no video.) I do like combat/adventure with some roleplay mixed in. As for time, I'm enrolled in online college courses and work part time (random hours), but I'm willing to request a specific time slot of to keep weekly sessions. (Just not Saturday nights as I'm always scheduled.) So, any evening EST more or less fine. Anyway, thanks for reading. Feel free to message me if you're interested in DMing and/or joining a learning party. Have a lovely day, ~ A
