This is where you can read about the misadventures of TPK, the third group of the world and the first to TPK then disband, some joining other groups while others became a DM. Recap 1: Our heroes Sir Lander the Noble Paladin, Korvix Kelvon Dragon born Warrior, Dryx Moonbear pixie, Sal Zarric BOMBadier, Korinn Dryad talker of plants and beasts, found themselves sleeping in mushrooms that transported them to the FEY another world of Fairy tales and fantasy. The Heroes quickly gave each other looks of distrust and ignorance. Before blood was drawn Clayton Stringpedal joined our heroes and with voice so soothing talked our heroes down and made them realize where they truly are. An arena where the Fey have mortals fight to the death for there enjoyment and then return them back to life to fight again, others were there who were made to die. Before our heroes were called to fight, Korvix Kelvon was filled with confidence as he made a deal with one of the Fey for a favor should he snatch victory in the battle. The heroes met on the field of battle and clashed, in the end only Dryx Moonbear hovered triumphantly and victoriously over the slaughtered heroes. A lord of Fey Offered the proud Dryx Moonbear a seat on his court, cleaning his prestigious bum and wiping his less appealing side. Dryx Moonbear victor and gladiatorial champion said Nay but before another word escaped his mouth he was struck down for daring to deny a fey lord. As our Heroes re awoke under the Arena a plan of escape was less planned and more just went for! The first challenge our heroes met were 4 Giants guarding the Arena. As other more cautious heroes thought of a way to escape. Korvix Kelvon threw caution to the wind and fired arrow after arrow into the giants meaty hide, oddly enough it did not move but merely died though as it fell its compatriots grew in size. Rather than stop they joined in and twice more were slain before a reaction our heroes did gain. The last with great strides moved forward to make sure our heroes would die. While some innocents were lost most did fly from that place to find themselves in another's confines. A Maze's confines as vines did move and walls shuddered our heroes became more and more cluttered for if not for Korinn Dryad's tongue they may have been truly done. She talked to plants and flowers alike to let them escape from the mazes sight. Though the flowers spoke very rudely they'd rather have the heroes gone and offered up a way to leave, sadly though Sal Zorric had gotten lost, Korinn quickly went back for him even as the others noticed they were in the Minotaur's den. The Beast did come at our Heroes with a toughened hide and an ax so large it made even strong men cry! The Heroes battled for nearly an hour before the Minotaur was cowed, with victory our heroes celebrated. Clayton Strongpedal played a tune and Korvix Kelvon claimed the monstrous Ax for his own, even though it weighed many stones. Our Heroes continued onward,it was not long until they noticed one of them had gone astray. It was the absent minded Sal Zorric who was lost. Ser Lander didn't know what to do so he thought to make a deal with the wall. It spoke it said you may go free but only if you leave your friends behind, with silvered tongue the Wall had fooled the knight and took Sal Without a fight. Though our other heroes did try to return him to there side again it was all for naught. Before they truly gave up on Sal and walked out of the Maze. Sal returned under unknown circumstances to there side without a word as to why. Freedom in the Summer court where camp was made, Dryads came to play of which Sal Zarric would only go, when Korinn came to see the hulabulu she smelled only cooking meat. What will happen next to our heroic friends? Will Sal Zarric get lost again? Will Korvix Kelvon's favor with the fey come back to haunt him some day? What are the mysteries surrounding Clayton Stringpedal and his fey like origins? Will Dryx Moonbear continue to be the true terror of the team? Will Korinn leave the heroes and live among the plants? Recap 2 Noble Paladin Sir Lander , Blue Berry Korvix Kelvon , Golden tongued Clayton Stringpedal ,The seductress of wood Korinn , and loyal friend and scientist Sal Zarric, pixie extrordinaire Dryx Moonbear our Heroes plans don't go as planned its a story of travel and adventure filled with ACTION romance and dramatic thrills that are sure to Wow you!! Our story begins where our last one ended Korinn finds herself among Dryads playing in the woods. The smell of something cooking is in her nose as her suspicion gets the best of her, she talks to the dryads and they try to trick her, and even invite her to stay. When she asks about the lizard Sal the Dryads say they met him and took him out for dinner. Only out means Sal is dying and dinner is Lizard. Korinn uses her diplomatic plant talking skills but the Dryads aren't haveing it. The Dryads demand a trade for Sal, haveing nothing to trade Korinn runs back to camp to gather our heroes. Worried for there compatriots life our heroes rush back to the Dryads grove only to find Sal slowly turning on the Dryads Spit passed out and cooking well. Satyrs and Dryads surround our heroes, Clayton Springpedal always the diplomatic of the group and Bard challenges the head Satyr to a battle of music and merriment. The Satyr feeling quite confident indeerd excepts Claytons challenge. I don't know what came over Clayton but he played so beautifully that it made the very pebbles in dirt cry, even the Satyr's were impressed by the sheer skill of this Fey Dwarf. The head Satyr began to play and almost immediately we all asked him to stop none more so then Sir Lander. As the Satyr returned Sal to the group Sir Lander began to berate and insult the Satyr for his playing and the Dryads for not looking very threatening, Korvix Kelvon Sir Lander's pesent pain in the neck even began to egg on a battle between Sir Lander and the Dryads. While such a battle would have been truly extrordinary Sir Lander sort of apologized or atleast apolpgized enough that the people of Nature let him and his friends go. When they returned to camp Korvix began to train with the axe our heroes had gained from killing the Minotaur of the maze, none of us knew it yet but night after night Korvix would swing the Axe, every time becoming one step closer to making the weapon his own. With one strong heave of force the Ax unlocked its secrets. Korvix named it Taurn the 75Ib great Ax was now Korvix's to command. Sir Lander is able to talk Sal into being his friend/retainer. When our heroes awoke they decided 2 things before they left camp that day. First was that if Sir Lander was going to continue to travel with them he would have to learn how to keep his mouth shut. Only after Sir Lander vowed to try to filter his language, throgh Sal did our heroes move on to the real problem. Our Heroes decided they must escape the Fey as soon as possible, Clayton a member of the Fey told them of his plight how he was marked by the Fey and must stay or find an ally that'tll help him escape, Claytons master was the Prince of Frost, most powerful of the winter Court. when the few other compatriots that escaped from the arena with our heroes heard this they immediatley made themselves scarce while our Heroes were argueing on where to find allies to escape the Fey. There choices were many The Under dwellers were enemies to all Fey, The Raven queen is a dark and powerful god said to be the Winter princes greatest rival, and The Summer Queen said to be Beautiful and good to all. Our Heroes decided to look for the Summer courts to find someway to save Clayton and escape the Fey. Korinn volunteered to find the way as she began to talk to a tree and decided to ask for directions, only to find out this particular tree only wanted to get in her pants or her roots I guess you could say. The other Heroes at first didn't understand this strange power, but after a quick explanation they all began to interrogate this tree. They failed you see it turns out trees are quite stupid and these particular trees were the Pine Combs of there generation. Our Heroes wondered through the woods for two days without much trouble. Soon they found themselves at the coast of a great ocean, where they saw sea giants and serpents far on the horizon. They made camp close to the coast this particular night only to find out the ocean made more noises than the splash of the waves. Some creature was making loud roars all through the night at first worried our heroes readied for battle, before an arrow could be fired or a sword swung Dryx Moonbear whizzed into the darkness to investigate the noise, he returned with the news that it was an awesome sight but very non threatening. some of our heroes slept like a rock others slept like a feather and woke up and slept in fits. Sir Lander would attempt to quiet the creature by chucking a burning log at the damnable beast, luckily Clayton Springpedal stopped Sir Lander and let the Creature play on until Dawn when it would finally swim off into the sunset. Dryx Moonbear swore one day he would become like that mighty beast as he watched it swim into the ocean. After some more travel our party came to a river deciding on the assumption that if civilization is to be found it will be at the end of this river our party travels down the river for a couple of days. On the first day there were no more tent plants to protect oneself from the elements,. Sir Lander having arrived in the fey with none of his traveling gear decided he would need a bedroll. After a quick analysis of the party Sir Lander decided Korinn the half dryad did not need a bed roll since trees don't need beds, she refused of course. That night everyone slept wonderfully except for Sir Lander who stubbornly refused to sleep unless he had a bed roll, he became exhausted but soldiered on. The next night as they set up for camp Korinn finally gave in and gave Sir Lander her bedroll to borrow knowing the blowhard was more useful well rested rather than tired. Then they heard the howling of wolves. Korinn asked the grass if they should be worried the grass said "Beware the fog, beware the fog" As Camp is setup and a fire roars to life the howling grows louder and louder and before our heroes knew it they were surrounded by fog. Inside the fog were wolves that seemed to appear and reappear. They began to circle the camp of our heroes, Dryx Moonbear took the form of a giant spider and attempted to create a web like defense between the wolves and our heroes but it was to late as the fog descended on our heroes along with the mist wolves. The battle was short , brutal, and blinding. Most of our heroes fought with out sight as the wolves attacked in the night. Korinn fell first with Sir Lander right behind the Wolves never missing a beat as they attacked our heroes. They will always say it was Sir Lander who brought down the first wolf but the truth is Sir Lander barely helped The truth is if not for Korviix Kelvon and the Ax of Taurn and Dryx Moonbear's ability to take shapes we would have died that night. Now don't forget all fought that night Clayton with thunders might, and Sal with Bombs delight, All fought that night. In the end the wolves laid dead at our feet. Finally our heroes reached the end of the river to find themselves at the top of a large cliff looking down into a literal nest of dragons thousands of them playing and fighting in a large field next to a lake below them. A large Red dragon lording over them all. Sir Lander wanted to attempt to communicate with the dragons . His decision was quickly vetoed. Before our heroes could decide what to do they heard a "Chirp chirp" as a small baby dragon made its way toward them with berries on its back. Most of our heroes ran to hide in the woods except for Sir Lander whether he was being brave or stupid it was unknown as he stood there waiting for the Small dragon to come face him. The small dragon shuffled up to Sir Lander showing that it was friendly it began to jump and play around the Noble. Sir Lander yelled back to the Party that there's nothing to be afraid of its just a baby. Clayton Springpedal was the first to come out and greet the baby it immediately falls in love with the Fey bard. soon it quickly becames fond of Korinn and Korvix Kelvon. The creature was exceptionally smart and some what telepathic it told our heroes of the danger of the valley of dragons . so they did the most sensible plan and merely turned around and went back down the river a ways. continuing southwest our heroes saw hydras doing battle and whole forests walking on legs. Rather than go explore these things our party continued on there way. As our heroes travel along Sal Zarric begins to do some experiments and tries to make sense of the Fey as he learns to make acid and other scientific discoveries. A few more days and they found themselves in hill country. Before their very eyes a hill collapsed an in its place was a large fathomless hole. Later that night they find a large, beautiful white hart standing on a hill before them. It quickly left but not before Clayton remembered its tale and that it can bring great happiness or great despair. They decided to follow the tracks the next day, when they rise over another hill they see it, the frozen kingdom of the Winter Court. Clayton turns to them and says "He Knows were here" Will Sal Zarric ever make sense of the fey? Will Sir Lander's mouth most likely get him killed? Will Dryx Moonbear ever really become that monster? Will Korinn ever get back her bed roll? Will Korvix Kelvon ever drop his gambling addiction? and Will Clayton Springpedal survive this future encounter with his Master and willl we learn more about this fey bards past find out next time on GROUP 2's adventures. Recap 3: The Prince of Frost stood before them and entreated our heroes with a cold talk with mention of a chance for freedom. When his subjects had finished there play The heroes fall into a cold dark sleep when they awake they find themselves in a frozen dungeon with cold chains dangling behind them, Clayton tells them this is a place of punishment and torture. Our Heroes escape their frozen cells. As Sir Lander tries to heal himself the party learns healing is impossible and their punishment has begun. The night’s horrors began when spectral children came and began to sing a song of horror and warning. Sir Lander attempted attacks against the children but his strikes merely phased through. As the children sang louder. Sir Lander only began to complain as his anger took him Sir Lander Charged the dark shape behind the children only to return to the group stumbling whispering about everything he lost and missing both of his arms. As the sound of chains and children's song continued in the darkness as the group hurried from the dark danger. They came upon a statue underneath which was a key and a scroll, Clayton moved toward the key as he picked it up he was compelled to read the inscription. After he finished a dead eye look came over Korinn as she jumped into a dark pit. The heroes devastated move on to try and escape as quickly as possible. As they continue to search the dark guardian of this place's chains was right behind them. Another key was in a room of which those would flame would find themselves devoured by an otherworldly killer luckily Dryx was quicker and escaped with the key. The next room they walked by they could hear the screams of Korinn not willing to leave there ally behind Clayton and Korvix enter to try and save her, they fell into a pit landing in a pit full of dead bodies. Where the maggots and worms ruled in numbers if not in power they ate away at the poor Korinn risking life and health our heroes bravely moved forward to save her. After much hardship and loss our heroes were able to escape with Korinn and continue down this hellish icy dungeon. A key sat under a light Dryx entered and was reminded of plights of his past as he looked on he was reminded of what happend at home. The next room was the same only this time it took more from Korvix then he did suspect learning hard truths about his family and his mother’s last moments. Sir Lander was faced with a reality all to different as he entered to retrieve his key, his family said truths he might have known. Sal entered one and came back, and said never again. Our heroes continued on unwilling to enter They lost more than they know in those rooms, so much more some there sight others there sanity and willingness to act. Another room was a dark altar to the god of pain under which was a key as they took the key Korinn read a dark omen as Korvix lost his mind one tried to save him but being armless was very disarming and he continued on. He tattooed a mark into his body that spoke told of how his death would soon come. They come to another statue as Clayton takes the key he begins to read how one will give his life for him. Sal smiles as he lights a bomb and hugs it to his chest, attempts were made but all failed as little lizard covered our heroes from head to toe. Clayton distraught as he heals over the death of his friend. They soon get to a room with a jump rather than go over our heroes go around and find a riddle of mirrors and clones as they figure out past this one with the key in hand. Next a room full of chests thinking freedom might be the key the chests attack and attempt to eat our heroes alive. facing down the threats. The sound of children singing and chains swinging served as a reminder as the darkness approached. Remembering a way aoround this monster our heroes juked the monster and returned to the beginning of the maze, having recovered from the shock of losing his arms Sir Lander remains hopeful that they might retrieve them only to learn that both are beyond his reach he says a tearful good bye as the darkness approaches. Our heroes make quick work of the maze with Korvix's ax of Tauren and end at maybe the exit of this hellish place.
Recap 4: Sir Lander Armless and Despot, Korviix the dieing, Dryx the stunned, Clayton the regretful, Are all that are left. Korinn soon expired in the frozen pit with out a noise in the night. But rather than begin our tales with the sounds of woo. Two new heroes have entered this frozen wasteland not much is known about them other than one is an Orc Warrior the other seems to be a Cleric follower of the sun from some dry landscape. I don't know about much these two but they began in the same cell as our heroes. Making there way out of the cages they unfortunately found themselves in the same pit of worms and bodies. Not noticing the ladder they tried most desperately to pile the bodies and escape but another wasn't having it.The Chain warden stood over them like death itself. The Orc made a run for it only to be devoured by the Worms. The Cleric had his legs taken from him as the Chain warden dragged him back to his den the clerics screams echoed through the frozen hell Our heroes found themselves out of the maze and into a puzzling part . It tested the heroes brains over there brawn , but even there brains couldn't save them from the final trap in the maze. As the roof slowly began to close on our heroes. At first our heroes began to scramble to try and save there lives but as there doom became more and more apparent. Clayton began to play my heart will go on. They sat down and began to say there final good byes to one another. I don't know if it was a god or a demon who was watching our heroes but just before our heroes were pulverized the roof gave in and began to rise. and the door opened. It was truly a bonding experience for them as they stood. The screams continued on in the dungeon. The dieing wails of some creature or man reluctantly our heroes decided to try and save the man who might know something they don't. As they made there way back inside the Wardens den after some minor arguing our heroes were able to form a human ladder big enough to save the man. Then the sound of children warning about the Chain warden. Dryx and Sir Lander ran out side to try and ditract the chain warden. As they ran out not much longer the sounds of there screams could be heard. As the Chain Warden dragged them back. Luckily they bought enough time for them to rescue the man and run back to the prison where the chain warden would not go. All hope was almost lost if not for the Berry Dragon Jesus it distracted the Chain Warden long enough for Clayton to rescue all of our heroes. When Jesus returned he had earned a place in the group. even Sir Lander was thankful. Our Heroes quickly made there way to the only part of the dungeon they hadn't explored. Korvix using his mighty strength as an anchor our heroes made there way across a number of chasms to find the exit. As the light of escape shined on there faces our heroes exited the prince of Winters dungeon. There victory over winter was joyous but shortlived as they soon found him waiting for them outside. Will the prince finally let our heroes leave or does he have more in store find out next time on group 2's adventures.
Recap 5: Our Heroes after bonding through the hell that is the Prince of winters realm have finally succeeded and proved to the prince that they are somewhat capable. The Prince of Frost offers a deal. in return for 2 months of freedom in the world outside the fey. Our heroes must find one of the prince of winters brides a Summer princess named Sharaea is all he would tell them. After some answering very few of our heroes questions and giving each of them a single Item from his personal armory the prince grew bored, opened the portal for there freedom and left them. As our heroes stepped through the portal they found themselves on an island. After some exploration they found nothing but each others company. As night fell the tide began to rise on the inland, but it was no real danger all it seemed to do was ruin bedrolls. The next day a ship could be seen on the horizon. Korvix quick thinking he hailed the ship using his lightning breath. As the ship was coming closer it seemed the Fae had more of an effect on our heroes than we knew as only Clayton, Dryx and Ra remembered what transpired in the Fae the others forgot and saw only strangers. It began first with our heroes having to incapacitate Sir lander as he had gained a fear of open oceans and seas. The ship sent a small boat out telling the heroes they were on the isle of the forgotten and for 100 gold they could come aboard the ship and be taken to the nearest port as no one had the gold a deal was arranged that they would work on the ship and help with the many duties on board the ship. This is also when our heroes met there newest compatriot Loki Steel horn not much is known about this large warrior. other than he is very dangerous. The Heroes worked on the ship for a number of days Sir Lander's raving soon got him tied to the mast of the ship. One day in the Distance another ship could be seen as the pirates came closer it grew more and more apparent that the heroes were expected to help the pirates in taking the ship. On board the ship was women and children it was a small merchant ship as the boarding commenced. The heroes were given there weapons and told to fight only to have them turn on the Pirates after a noble but foolhardy speech from Sir Lander telling the Pirates he's a noble and that he won't help them! the battle was long and hard fought but eventually the pirates succeeded in over powering our heroes and taking the other ship. Luckily, enough pirates were lost in the fighting that they couldn't kill our heroes and make it back to port safely. So a truce was struck among everybody that they would work on the ship in return they could keep there lives. Upon arriving at a main port the heroes were dropped off. Loki Steel-horn got off with them as this was his hometown. The heroes knew they were quite low on money so Loki agreed to give them money in return for a large return on his investment the heroes agreed and Loki decided to stay with them to protect his investment. Ra was given wheel legs. and our heroes resupplied them selves. Sir lander learned that his father had truly disowned him and the last thing he would ever do for him is pay these pirates to free him. Our heroes soon learned that thy were in the Fae for 6 years. After some explanation from Ra and Dryx the heroes decided to go to the nearest main town to ask about the princess Sharaea. Recap 6 Korvix led our heroes through the mountains at the beginning of there travels morale was high As they walked they discussed the finer points of weaponry with Sir Lander proving without a doubt that what the others carried were not weapons but tools and what he had was a weapon. After some minor disagreement a large Manticore flew out of the trees and attacked the group but they dispatched it with relative ease Loki set about fashioning some type of weapon from the creature. continuing on our heroes met a flock of goats that were the size of elephants!!!! no one knows what spooked them but they fought like demons!!!!!! Most of our heroes would have fallen if not for Ra's use of his booming voice. He scared the goats off. They continued on to the peak, I don't know if Korvix is as skilled as he says he is in the mountains but he ran us into some greater mountain demon, the earth shook as it reveled itself I have never seen such a terror in my life I fear if it wasn't for a giant also coming upon our predicament we would've died. Together we defeated this under hulk. Sadly Korvix our guide was knocked unconscious and luckily they giant merely took his Ax Taur and left us alone. I'am also quite glad we didn't manage to kill a single goat because the giant had a number of familiar goats with him. After the theft Korvix was upset but Sir Lander told him to man up and rise to the occasion. I don't know if Korvix thought he had to reasert his pride or whatever but he led us to the den of some monster when we were right outside of our destination. I don't know what is in store for us. The monster was a 40 foot tall magical spider. It fought ferociously and Sir Lander fled leaving the others to their fates. Korvix and Loki tried to ride the beast and ended up getting themselves knocked unconscious. As the fight came close to the end only Ra was left standing. He decided it would be better to burn himself and his allies than be eaten by spiders so he set his allies aflame. Just before killing himself as well, The spider shuddered and fell. A man in a white mask who identified himself as Phantom had come to their rescue. Phantom escorted the two remaining members to Krona's peak where he helped pay for their missing limbs in exchange for Jesus the Berry Dragon. Phantom then set Ra on a course to help an up and coming group of adventurers known as the Burning Retribution since Ra liked light and flames. He sent Sir Lander to another group further south due to his holy nature and rumors of an awakened angel needing investigated.
