Experienced player looking to play

Hi guys. Experienced D&D player here looking to play with some new people and test out some interesting characters. I'm hoping for a mid-high level campaign (8+) to really see how these characters roll at their best. Prefer a good balance of RP and combat but if you want to lean more one way than the other I've got someone to fill the roll, just tell me beforehand what you're looking for. - FAIR WARNING : while not TOTALLY min-maxed some of my characters are a little on the optimized side, some of them have mildly edgy backstories, and one or two of them are female characters despite me being a male player. I swear I'm not THAT GUY. It's just how the characters ended up being written. I know people tend to have aversions to these sorts of things so I figured I'd give you fair warning. I'm only going to be available once a week, and likely not till after 4-6:00 EST With that all said and done I leave you with a short teaser of a just few characters I have to choose from: Zarell : Male Human or Half-Elf, Warlock (fey/blade)/ Paladin (oath of ancients) Background: Noble Backstory: Zarell comes from a long line of adventurers who long ago made a deal with a benevolent arch-fey known only as “The Silver Lady.” Each generation of his family renews this pact and does good deeds in The Lady's name. With a potent combination of Fey magic and a righteous cause Zarell fights all manner of evil. Archello : Male Human, Fighter (eldritch)/ Rouge (assassin) Background: Urchin or Criminal Backstory: Archello's parents died when he was young, leaving both him and his younger sister alone on the streets. But Arch was always a smart kid. It didn't take him long to figure out who he needed to impress or how to impress them to get a job. He started working for the local thieve's guild as a petty thief and quickly rose through the ranks. Eventually he was scouted by one of the guild's “special enforcers” and was given special training as an assassin. All the while Archello spent most of his money on his sister. Not only providing food and shelter but setting up an apprenticship for her with a wizard. Archello is very careful not to let his two lives cross (only select members of the guild know of his sister) but is happy to use second hand magic learned while visiting his sister to be more effective in his job as a guild enforcer. Variette : Female Human, Fighter (battlemaster) Background: Guild Artisan Backstory: Variette's parents were killed by orcs when she was an infant. Luckily a caravan was passing by and saved her. One of them was an elven smith who couldn't just leave her so he decided to raise her as his own. From him she learned archery, smithing, and legends of ancient and powerful magical weapons used by heroes in ages past. It was these stories that sparked her adventuring career. Listening to her adopted father's tales sparked a desire to learn from the ancients and the gods themselves to forge a weapon of her own who's legend will outshine and outlast all the others. Hope you all enjoyed. Sorry these ones are all human, I have LOTS more that aren't. I'm also happy to let other folks use my characters if they don't have one or are interested. :)
One assumes given your post that you are exclusively looking for a 5e game?  If so, it would be helpful to put that in the original post.  How late in the evenings you would be able to play and if there were any particular days that work better for you would also be good to include.
Sorry, meant to fix that. Yes, I want to play 5e but am willing to write for other editions if folks are interested. Currently between jobs so I'm pretty open except for Tuesdays. I'm game any other day until 2am if necessary, all I ask is we keep the game schedule consistent if possible.

If you are interested in giving 4e a go, we will be looking for new members starting next week.  We have ~20 DMs and ~100 players right now.  Its a living game so happen whenever a DM has free time enough to schedule one.  Each player can have 2 characters to start with (although you only play them 1 at a time in games) and you can freely go between games and DMs.  If you are interested toss me a PM and I can get you the basics you would need if you wanted to give it a try once we open back up recruiting.
