[LFP] [D&D 5e] One-shot: Saturday 10th, 5pm EST.

Hello, I will be hosting a D&D 5e one-shot tomorrow (Saturday 10th) at 5pm EST. I will be running the "Death House" Ravenloft module, just in case you have already played it. It'll be the first time I run it; I estimate the game to be around 4-5 hours, but there is a chance you might not finish in time depending on what you do. If that happens, we can reschedule for a new session to finish if most players would like to continue. The focus of this game is investigation and combat. If you'd like to join, please reply here so I can give you the link to the campaign and create a character sheet for you to modify. Most WotC content is usable, including PHB, UA, Volo's, with the sole exception of the Mystic class. Using standard array for character creation (15,14,13,12,10,8). Hi! This sounds interesting and I'd be down to give it a try. My only Ravenloft experience is Curse of Strahd, so unless they're somehow related that shouldn't be a problem. I'd be most interested in playing an Undying Light Warlock, Light Domain Cleric or Storm Sorcerer, though I'm also willing to take on the role of "fill" to suit the party's needs if necessary. Edit: Oops. So after looking into it, I see that Death House is sort of a pre-cursor or lead-in to Curse of Strahd. I actually joined the CoS campaign after the party had finished Death House, so my earlier statement still stands and I have no actual experience with the module.

Hey Nick! If you are still looking for players, I'm quite interested in playing this one. I'm an experienced 5e DM and will probably be running Curse of Strahd in the near future, so I'd love to get to experience Death House as a player first. I'm happy to play pretty much anything and can whip up a level 1 character quickly.

Hi Nick.  I'm really interested in the Ravenloft setting and would love to try it out this way, so if you still have space count me in!  Like Kirsty, i'd be happy to play pretty much anything, though a cliche Paladin standing as bulwark against the darkness definitely appeals.

Hi Nick, I've played a lot of 5e in person and remarkably, the first Roll20 game I played was Curse of Strahd, i'd love to test my mettle at the death house. I was hoping to get a chance to play as something I havn't gotten to yet, so i was thinking a Halfling Monk or Kobald Sorcerer but i'm willing to switch it up if the party has some gaps in fighters, paladins or whatever! Is there still room available?

Hey Sam, we potentially have 5 players already and Brine is next in line if someone can't make it. If a spot opens up I'll let you know, but it might be tough at this point. Thank you for the interest though, I'll keep you in mind if I run the game again later.
