I am running a story/roleplay-heavy campaign with a complex, full world that challenges the player characters’ emotional and ethical cores as well as their strength in battle along their journeys--as a party and individually. OUR CURRENT CAST: Level 4 Dr. Esther Shrike / Human / Female / Fighter-Gunslinger A Human woman of terrifying intellect and a sharp tongue. Esther emerged from the fog of the Silent War with a firearm, an arcane prosthetic left hand and the grit to survive. She reaches for revenge with the hand holding the gun, and with the other, something else. Acceptance? Resolution? Kael'ra Sunfury / Dragonborn / Female / Monk-Way of the Four Elements Born of a scandal within the Dragonborn Imperial Family, Kael'ra is set apart by her half-chromatic, half-metallic nature. Gentle, inquisitive and indomitable, she trained as a monk and ambassador before her exile. Now, she quests for identity, and the father that doomed her to her pariah status. Madden Pergwn / Elvish / Nonbinary / Rogue - Thief A clever Elvish con artist with a cynical bite to their personality. Born of a petty crime family, Madden is a firm believer in bonds of blood. They’re still working on the concept of “friends”. Kiaran Asodyl / Drow / Female / Sorcerer - Draconic Bloodline A highborn Drow cut from a revolutionary cloth. Idealistic, kindhearted and burning with passion, Kiaran championed the rights of the underdog before fleeing home for mysterious reasons. This campaign meets once a week on Sundays at 6:00 PST/8:00 CST/9:00 PM EST. We play through Roll20.net. Consistent attendance is critical to this narrative experience (although absences due to illness, sudden emergency or planned vacation are acceptable). This time is unfortunately a non-negotiable as we currently balance timezones from across the globe with players ranging from Seattle, Washington to Melbourne, Australia. We seek adventurers with strong roleplay skills and the ability to commit--and I in turn am committed to give you the best of myself to provide an engaging, unique experience for you and your character. It really helps take the collaborative and story element up a notch without taking away from the extemporaneous experience. I will not import pre-existing D&D characters into this campaign wholesale. A character’s context is extremely important. Bring to me an idea or a concept to flesh out with you so we can build a strong character together--or build something from scratch with me! Colorful swearing is allowed. Racist, sexist and homophobic behavior, however, is not tolerated under any circumstances and will result in expulsion. In-character: Explicit love scenes are always fade to black in-game for the comfort of all players and the DM who has to narrate.
