LFG, want to be a player for first time. (Have experience as GM) 5e

Hi! I've GMed for 5e for about 6 months, and I know all the rules, how to roleplay, etc. I've never been a player however, and I'm looking to join a game for 5e. I'm open any day except Fridays, and my timezone is CT. I'll play mostly any class but I'd prefer being a Bard over anything else.

Sorry, no thank you. I don't want to play with a whole new ruleset and classes, and I don't really want to do a oneshot; i'd prefer a long-term campaign.

Sorry, I don't want to be picky but I have a feeling I'll have to turn down your offer, Matt. You say it's mostly combat and there's little to no social aspect and my character's background won't be explored. You also say I'll be playing with different players most of the time, and I want my character to develop relationships and I want to roleplay as well as fight, so I think I'll have to say no, but thank you anyways.
