Leverage - Mastermind in need of crew & fixer. Monday afternoons/evenings Pacific time.

When a bunch of crooks steal the DHS (Department of Homeland Security) playbook from the office of intelligence and analysis, eccentric analyst Carolyn Flynn is placed under suspicion of being an insider to the theft. Stripped of her DHS resources and left out in the cold by the intelligence community, she turned to the one group she could entice to her aid: criminals. Her salary wouldn't ever be enough to afford even a single member of her new crew... but it wouldn't need to when Uncle Sam picks up the bill, courtesy of the fine folks at the Internal Revenue Service. Hello Ladies and Gents, I've been hankering to get myself into a leverage game, and as I've hinted to above I wish to be your Mastermind. I have a plan, and it involves conning one of you all into taking the reins as the fixer. If this game has you interested then I encourage you to leave a reply. Steve
So, not even a single response? Try 2 I guess... Leverage is a rpg made by Margrett Weis Productions that utilizes the cortex plus game engine. It shares some developers with FATE (so expect to see some similarities crop up). The mechanic of the system is very easy to pick up (makes Pathfinder look like calculus) and characters are a cinch to make. In leverage you take the role of one of five crew members: The Grifter: Your classic confidence man with people skills out the wazoo. The Hacker: Does all the hacking, makes all the cool gadgets. The Hitter: For when everything goes to hell. The Mastermind: Comes up with the plans and the brain behind the operation. The Thief: He climbs, he picks locks, he cracks safes & more. Or you are the fixer, otherwise known as GM in other games. So come on over to the dark side (aka not pathfinder) we have cookies!
