Hello hello! For several months I've been interested in Pathfinder and recently started playing. I've been a part of a few one-offs and I'm currently part of 3 campaigns, one of which is a local group. Now I'm interested in the GMing aspect of Pathfinder and have decided to give it a try. On the advice of a friend I have decided to run Black Fang's Dungeon from the Beginner's Box for 2 (maybe 3) one-offs between now and Christmas. As a semi-beginner to Pathfinder, I would be more than happy to join your Thursday game.
I would be interested in joining your Thursday game. I'm still relatively new to Pathfinder, but I think I have the basics down.
Woohoo! Two players already! :D Let me know character names and classes so I can add that to the list.
Me and my friend are interested in joining, we've never played Pathfinder before but are famaliar with DnD and L5R so we imagine this won't be too hard to learn.
Pathfinder is pretty easy to learn, Trevor. It's actually my first table-top game I've ever played and it's pretty easy to learn. What time do you and your friend want to join?
I'll have to check with her to make sure she's 100% available on thursday, but im 90% sure we can do thursday right now.
Okay, just let me know.
I guess I can be the 'experienced' player for Thursday... I'm not 100% on Pathfinder specifically but I know enough to keep things going, I guess. Lots and lots of experience in role-playing in general, tho. As far as characters, I'll wait to see what the rest of the group creates, and play whatever is needed. ie: if everyone goes wizard-type, I'll make a meat-shield fighter.
If you have room I'd love to join! I have been trying to get a game but it has been hell finding anyone to play with. Im a very new player to dnd. but I can do mondays and tuesdays.
@ Phnord - I added you as a reserve for Game 1. @Radatz - This isn't DND; it's Pathfinder, which is similar to DND I think. I added you to Monday's game.
Sorry Kate she can't make it, we might be able to do another date like next week but for now I'll withdraw until I can see what's up with her.

i would love to join Thursday's game.
I would love to join but I am still learning the ropes on playing these table top games. I can figure pathfinder out soon its just that I been looking for a game to play that will accept a newbie like me. For some reason I just wanted to try this stuff out and see if I would have fun with these types of games.
Thursday has been filled so now only Monday is available. Also, my Skype is katerose488 if anyone has questions, wants to chat, or just whatever.
bump
I'm in for the monday if there are still places available.
Hey folks. Regarding the thursday game... what classes are people wanting to play? It'd be nice to have them ahead of time so I know what I should roll up. If anyone needs help with character creation, let me know, either here or in PMs. Kate, if you need any help setting up the campaign, let me know... there are a lot of little tips and tricks that can make things a lot smoother! Here's one for free: Initiative roller The GM goes to settings, and makes a macro called "INIT". The macro itself reads as follows (use copy/paste to ensure accuracy): /emas @{selected|token_name} rolls a [[1d20+?{modifier|0}&{tracker}]] for initiative! Then scroll down a little bit and check "Show as Token Action" on. Then scroll down a little further and under "Visible to Players", select "All Players" Then save it. Now, when it's time for a player to roll their character's initiative, all they have to do is click their token, hit the INIT button that pops up, and enter their initiative modifier. Their token will automatically be added to the Turn Tracker!
I'm planning on running a 2handed human barb, if that works.
A few things.... 1. Stephen, I added you to Monday's game 2. Monday's scheduled game has changed times from 3pm to 5-6pm so that 2 of my friends can play. 3. Need to know PC names and classes so I can list them. Also, I need a pic from each of you that you'd like to use depicting your character so that I can make tokens. Any questions? Feel free to ask.
For Thursday's game - Simon Lancaster (Rogue) I will search for a suitable picture.
So that leaves Ben M and me. Meat shield - barbarian - covered by David Sneak - rogue - covered by Brian Magic - wizard/sorcerer - open Healer - cleric/druid - open This is, of course, assuming we're going for the classic four-cornered-party... which I strongly recommend in these kind of one-shot games. Ben M, your pick; whatever you like, I'll take the other one. Lemme know if you need help deciding.

i rolled up a druid wild shaper or a weather domain tried to contact you on skype as well.
the domain druid has scribe spell so i can prepare more spells ahead of time if it is permitted but i like animal companion builds better .
Hey, excellent. I'll whip up a mage of some sort and see y'all then! PS: Yes, I too would like to know if I can scribe some scrolls ahead of time!
Molori the Wizard A wise old man, grey of hair and grey of robe, Molori is not as frail or helpless as he seems. Although weak in body, his mind is most powerful, and he uses his magics to great effect. He also has great knowledge in matters of all sort, and only a fool would fail to heed his advice when given. http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=738632 Image link: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_nKUgiWR1_vw/TVL5CfXrp1I/AAAAAAAAAFQ/JFbSZ_ZVdeU/s1600/impressionist-wizard-j-w-baker.jpg
Yes, you and Ben can scribe some scrolls before we start. Also, I still need your Skype name and David's for the game.
I hope the Monday group has half the fun we had. Oh man... what a night!
I agree... I think our game went quite swimmingly indeed! I mean, true, the gnome did get a little hot under the collar, and that was something of an uphill climb. But once the wizard chilled out for a while, and he and the gnome chiseled out their differences, things got much better. Even the rogue learned to put down his sword once in a while and take a rest! Perhaps we can rope the group together (even the barbarian) for another adventure in the future? in other words, thanks for the game KateN!
that was a fantastic. i agree on your statement of how the night went couldn't have said it better. but i do believe you lost your hat once and the barbarian had a friend drop in then played a game of thrones with what appears to be some cousins of his.
