Token assistance needed for pbp game

I am experimenting with the mapping on this forum in preparation for a pbp game I plan to start some time after the new year. I have enlisted two of my future players to help with my preparations. We have run into a couple of snags. 1) I know this site is designed to support live gaming, but do I (or at least my computer) need to be active also in order for my friends to be able to interact with the map/manipulate the tokens? 2) How do I set it up so that my players can move their tokens? Currently my players are reporting that when they move their tokens the token ends up moving back to their original position afterwards. 3) Is it possible to set up tokens so that any player can affect the tokens hp? For instance, when one player casts healing magic on another. 4) Is it a problem if I use tokens I created using tokentool?
1) Nope. Assuming, of course, that your players have control of the tokens, they can move them as desired. 2) If the token's settings allow the players to access them at all, they should stay where place. I don't know why yours don't. 3) Yes, in the same way as allowing them to move the tokens. You'll either have to give everyone the same level of control, and trust them, or no control at all (meaning they won't be able to change the hit points etc). Unless I'm mistaken, there's no way to allow one but not the other. edit: While you can make it possible to move tokens without having control of the stat bars (ie: hit points), you can't do it the other way (hit points but not movement.) So there's no way to allow the other but not the one, would be more pedantically accurate! q;} 4) Only if copyright issues come into play, I suppose, and that seems unlikely.
