I have no idea how complicated this would be to code, but bear with me. To figure out where a token ends up right now, I can visually count the steps as I move it *or* I can use the ruler first, and then the token second. But visually counting sometimes gets sloppy, and the ruler only goes as the crow flies, so I have to use it in multiple moves and then remember where I started and finished. It's doable, obviously, but I have another idea. How about I grab the token, and then I drag it, and I automatically get a distance counter from where I started. Then, I can set it down and pick it up again, and drag it from that spot, creating a literal turning point, and the calculator keeps tracking the *total* distance from where I started (until I pick up another token or somehow manually end the counter, said counter keeps counting). Then, when I'm done, the system automatically leaves a line that marks the path as I've just set it. The line would be a drawing object, so I could just delete it when I'm done. For games with Attacks of Opportunity, this would be very useful. I'd love that. That would be awesome.
