Hello, a while ago i had this idea of holding an extra long one shot adventure starting Sunday morning (GMT) and lasting for around 6-8 hours, with breaks and all, of course. Right now I am DM-ing 2 campaigns with a homebrew 2e system that I plan on using for this, but those are still low-level ( 1-2 ). This adventure is a way for me, and hopefully the players, to get a DnD fill before going away for the holidays and also see how the system works for a bit higher levels. The story I have in mind for this one-shot is pretty basic, you are going to be a group of 3 to 5 people that have taken upon themselves the task to embark on a perilous journey towards the mountain where a white dragon has made it's lair, and hopefully slay it. We will be using a very RP-heavy ( at least for a one time game ) style of playing, based more around descriptions rather than map use for combat. Character are going to be level 4 and have a fairly high amount of money to buy items. If you wish to play be prepared to spend some time for character creation before Sunday and make sure you can start relatively early ( GMT time ) on Sunday and go for at least 7 hours. If you wish to play or know any further details post here or PM me. PS: I am using a heavily homebrewd version of 2nd ed, so if you are interested in something closer to the core than you are probably not interested Proficiencies ( both weapon prof and non-weapon ) are being used but as most things in this game they are re-worked. Classes and races are also a home-brew variant but I allow all classes other than bard and druid, I allow all standard 2e races but the mod are changed. I do not allow multi-class or dual-class as it is something I am yet to work out into the system ( if I ever will ). For communications we are going to use skype, microphones are mandatory.
