I've seen other threads that have brought this up but they weren't resolved to my satisfaction. If I use the magic mouse touch functionality to pan around a map it is quick, responsive, and behaves as one thinks it should. If the pan tool is used by holding down the right portion of that same magic mouse, it is decidedly wonky, taking a second to find the coded threshold necessary to match the speed at which I'm moving the mouse, and then using a similar threshold when deciding to slow back down. As a result, the pan tool will always overshoot where you want to scroll to, unless you quickly flick it - which is an incredibly inefficient way of moving across a map. When on a Mac, this isn't a problem as I can just use the magic of the... magic mouse to pan around the map. But when I DM on my PC, I unfortunately don't have that luxury for obvious reasons. I'm forced to use the cumbersome pan tool to get around. Has anyone figured out a way to replicate the magic mouse functionality on the PC?
