[LFP] Ongoing Deathwatch RPG [Skype] actively seeking Melee units. Flexible Schedule

I am running an Ongoing Deathwatch campaign set in the "If the Emperor had a Text-To-Speech Device" timeline. The kill squad currently has few to no Melee focused units. Will be accepting applicants from all across the board, series newbies and veterans alike, from Space Marines to Sisters of Battle to ballsy as fuck guardsmen to Inquisitors. [All will function mechanically as Space Marines for simplicity's sake.] [Veterans must be willing and able to be patient with the less experienced players and accept the whims of the GM.] Assault Marines and Melee focused apothecaries are most desirable but all applicants will be considered. Must also be willing to play catch-up as this game has been going for quite a few sessions now and a lot has happened. Lastly, this particular mission is a crossover with "Aliens vs Predator" so an open mind and a willingness to play fast and loose with the lore is required. If interested either respond here or on the game page [Link below] or PM me with a character concept. This should preferably include - Character name - Chapter - Specialty (Assault, Apothecary, Tech, etc.) - Personality - background/short bio Thank you for reading and I hope to here from applicants soon. :) https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/77172/deathwatch-apollo-xiii
I have never played any tabletop games but have been super interested in them. I am also super into the whole 40k universe having read several of the novels and omnibus. I work graveyard shifts Sunday through Monday. So late games work for me especially on the weekends. If I seem like I could work out I was thinking as playing as a terminator chaplain that prefers to work up close with a power sword and bolt pistol forgoing the traditional crozius. Also he would have taken the the long watch oath so no chapter allegiances. Valen Redfang Space Wolves ( but had taken long watch oaths) Chaplain/terminator surly/devote to the purge of centos became a young wolf priest on fenris after his century of service. Served under ragnar Blackmane as his company's devout wolf priest. Was then selected to go to the watch and after countless battles and friends lost got he foul xenos he has taken the oaths of the long watch.
