LF1M, 3 sessions in - Supernatural meets Paranormal Investigations Inc. (Saturdays 7pm CEST/10am PDT/1pm EDT)

Unfortunately, three sessions in, we lost a player to (according to himself) his inability to concentrate despite us implementing breaks to hopefully help. So, we are looking for a new person excited to find out about the supernatural lurking around every corner of our world! :) Time: Played weekly on Saturdays for 4-5 hours. Check your timezone here: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/?pl=1&lid=2950159,... The system we use is FU (Freeform Universal RPG). System: FU is very easy to learn, I would compare it to a mix between Dungeonworld & Fate but more rules-lite. You can find the official page here: http://perilplanet.com/fu-rpg/ or my 'condensed' version without all the optional stuff here: http://perilplanet.com/fu-rpg/ (literally 4 pages). Questions? Just pm me. Setting: The campaign is a sandbox - 3 cases are offered whenever the players are looking for new stuff to do, cases might be red herings, might be short 'seek and destroy', might evolve into more dangerous things if not taken... So the world evolves and remains consistent between sessions. Its semi-Supernatural-style setting (so Ghostbusters but serious). The group is playing a 'TV Crew' called Paranormal Investigations Inc. for the Foo-Network and are still looking for cases that could be turned into a good episode... Though now they have to deal with some - or most - of those cases being real, as well! (In general people don't know about the supernatural, and the players agreed it should remain that way) So we are at the point when the campaign is starting to go into full gear and becomes more serious tone-wise, dipping into horror, weird and investigation. ...and should we get bored of the setting in a few months already, we can always just play something else. Characters: So far we have a scientist, a scriptwriter/planner/logical thinker and a jock-y & handsome cameraman. We just lost our medium. The new person could play anything that could get assigned to the group via the network, for example a producer as the rest of the group is more of a background crew so far. A witch/medium/priest/other spiritual being is of course needed, but one of the players offered to have their character discover that next session so its definitely not a must! :) We are using the roll20 inbuilt communication system with Skype as a fallback. Voice is mandatory, video is optional of course :) Newbies to roleplaying and of course the system are very much welcome as long as they respect every other player (including the GM) and their time - also, due to the narrative system, they need to be up to participate in an active manner, otherwise they will probably get bored. Check out the link for more information about my GMing style (and of course, in order to apply) :) https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/78640/paranorma... Applications can be sent to me via pm or posted in the campaign forum. I will get back to you asap (I do reply to every message) and we will have a short skype chat (no video) to see if any immediate no-go's pop up for either of us.
Sounds really cool. Im busy saturdays but i wish you good luck. Otherwise i would have played Tim Boyd: Parapsychologist.
