[LFP] Pathfinder Fridays 17:00 GMT-6 Player Driven Story

A recently started campaign, that focuses on an open world and player input for story in a homebrew setting; we just had one spot open up. My approach to GM'ing involves a measure of pre-written story plus trying to to improvise when I can to try to connect the story to your character's story. We play to have fun as a group above all else. Link to a little more info about the campaign: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/4864872/the-colo... Currently the players are investigating the source of zombies plagueing a town south of Carisport - an ancient buried complex that was sealed in the past against some hidden threat. If interested in joining, explain as if you were your character talking to the group why they would be interested in having you along? Why are you (character) a good, reliable addition to their group (which currently consists of a curious gnome investigator, a half-orc fighter, and a tiefling slayer https://www.reddit.com/r/characterdrawing/comments/6kqux4/i_sculpted_my_players_party/)? Character creation: core races, and humans are by far the most common (if you really want to pick another race, sell me on how your character will fit into a mostly human society that considers the term "racist" to be more often a compliment than insult) Any Paizo material except gunslingers, although I may later work that technology into the setting. Kineticists make me cringe, but I'd rather allow it and trust players not to go too power crazy. 20 point buy staring level 3, soon to be level 4. brief background story including an important friend as well as a simple concept for an acquaintance with a more adversarial relationship to your character - perhaps a competitive rival, or an inter-family feud.
bump. Next game will be a week from today.
