A slot has opened up in my Hell’s Rebels game. We play Fridays at Noon CDT. Hell’s Rebels is a Pathfinder Adventure Path about liberating your city from the oppressive yoke of Barzillai Thrune, a lord mayor appointed by the thrice-damned house of Thrune, the royal house in the devil-worshiping empire of Cheliax. As things stand in my campaign, the rebellion is well underway. We are currently partway through Dance of the Damned, which is the third of six volumes. Reliability: Before I continue, I want to say that I am only interested in players who will actually show the fuck up to the game, and I mean consistently. If you will not be present for at least nine out of every ten games, please do not contact me. I really mean this. Hogging a slot only to not use it shows that you do not respect me or your fellow players, and I will not tolerate it. Please note that this involves not only being present, but being present when the game is supposed to start. You need to give us some clear notice that you are awake and getting ready no later than 12:15 CDT, and you need to be present no later than 12:30 CDT. Character Creation: Level: The party is level 8. Starting Wealth: 33,000 gp. Ability Scores: 20 point buy. Alignment: No Evil. Chaotic and Good alignments are especially appropriate for this campaign. This applies to your patron deity as well as your character. Health: Max at first level, roll thereafter. Race: Any Paizo. Races over 20 RP need special approval. Class: Any Paizo. Summoners must be unchained. Much of this game takes place in urban environments, making nature-themed classes less appropriate unless they take an archetype. Traits: 2 Rebellion Boons: This AP uses a mini-game of sorts to keep track of the ongoing progress of your uprising. The rebellion has a rank from 1 to 20. The rebellion is currently rank 9 in my game. At each rank, the leaders of the rebellion, the PCs, receive a boon. As of now, the PCs have earned 2 extra skill ranks each (total, not per level), a bonus feat selected from the following list: Deceitful, Awareness, Persuasive, Stealthy, and an additional bonus feat selected from the following list: Great Fortitude, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes. Flavor and Backstory: It will likely be easiest to assume that your character has been a minor member of the rebellion up until now, and has newly been promoted to a position of leadership. This is not set in stone, though it is likely, at the very least, that your character has lived in Kintargo, the city you are fighting to free, for some time. Other than that, your character should have enough personality to sustain extended segments of pure role-play. Such segments are common, (though many of them are only half an hour or so). The current party consists of a Bard, a Fighter, and a Shaman. The bard has Leadership, and his cohort is a Mesmerist. I note that the party is currently allied with an order of Hellknights. (It’s a long story.) As a result, this might be a good opportunity to play a Lawful Good Hellknight. (You will only be allowed to select the order the PCs have allied with. It is called the Order of the Torrent. It is focused on locating and rescuing victims of abduction.) There are a million other pieces of minutia that need to be discussed, as this is a rather complicated campaign. An extended vocal conversation to get you up to speed will be needed. You really, really need to read the Hell’s Rebels player’s guide in its entirety: http://paizo.com/products/btpy9g44?Pathfinder-Adventure-Path-Hells-Rebels-Players-Guide The only part you can skip is the “reason to protest” bit, which is non-applicable to someone joining mid-campaign. We play over discord. Oh, and by the way, I livestream the game. No one actually watches, but it is useful for archiving purposes. Please PM me if you are interested. If you want, you can start as soon as the 14 th , though I will accept if you cannot start until the 21 st .
