dynamic lighting question

sorry if this is posted somewhere, didnt find it when i skimmed the forums do the players need to be subscribers in order for them to see the dynamic lighting stuff or does the DM need to be the only one with the subscription?
Only the DM needs to be a subscriber. It's based on the subscription level of the person who makes the campaign. And if you decide to subscribe after making a campaign, you'll still get the benefits of the subscription in existing campaigns.
thank you!
How does this apply to those of us who got transferred as a TTF backer? More specifically, I see that I can make a campaign and activate dynamic lighting. Does that mean once players join, they will see it as well?
If you are the GM and you have access to dynamic lighting, then your players should be able to see it as well. You can check for yourself by going to the settings tab and clicking the "rejoin as player" button. Just make sure to assign a token with light to your own name (you should show up in the list by your screen name) or make the light visible to all players.

Fascinating. Yes, I am the GM, and I've tried rejoining as a player several times, and it works just like it should. (I've also used the "Ctrl+L" trick to do the same.) Cool beans. I guess this is a hidden perk of being a backer, even though my account says I'm at the Free level. :) Thanks for the help, Sarah!
Alex, if you have any other questions about what perks you get as a TTF backer, you can email team@roll20.net .
