So there are no players on this site?

I've been trying to get players for weeks. Got a whole fantasy world set up with a brand new system.
Maybe its the time, Christmas and new years are just around the bend, and some of us have jobs and the holiday stuff to deal with.

Is it listed in the looking for group listing? Have you listed it here? If you posted here, did you include the day and time including timezone? Is this a homebrewed system or something that is out from a company? Did you put a brief synopsis of the system in your description?

He pretty much put up the most obnoxious ad without any serious information about anything (no time/timezone, no system details etc) and wonders why nobody cares to join. Plus it's homebrew, which few people will care to join in any case.

John, aside from putting more information in your recruitment post, there's also ways outside of Roll20 to get players for a Roll20 game. I'd consider checking out general RPG fora such as The RPG Site and RPG.net , a publisher specific forum if there is one and then look for any relevant Google+ Communities that might apply. Personal contact and connections trump all of these too - try emailing people you've played with before, current friends that might be interested in your game or people from the old meatspace game way back when.

Timezone, time of play, system information, and world information is critical in getting players to join your game.
I have a full group of awesome players. I would just like to get some more. Everyday, All the time, Fantasy RPG homebrew. You would have to see it to believe it.
Closing this topic because it's pretty silly. Clearly there are players on Roll20.
