[LFP] Call of Cthulhu DM seeking 3 for original mini-campaign!

Hello, friends!  I am fairly new to dungeoneering, but I'm really excited to share this campaign of mine, which has been tested successfully on 2 IRL groups, as I prepare it for larger distribution!  Both of the past groups have consisted of beginner players, so I'm hoping to bring in at least 1 experienced player this time - though I am perfectly happy to intro brand new players to the game system. The campaign, an original 3-act, 7-10 hour mystery entitled THE TINKER AND THE TERROR, will introduce players to the enigmatic inventor Arcturus Fletcher, a rising superstar in 1923 Boston.  Fletcher's stunning, controversial advancements in bio-engineering have mesmerized audiences as he toured the country for the past year, giving travelling demonstrations rather like those of Nikolai Tesla.  This consummate showman has returned to his hometown for the culmination of his tour, and YOU have secured a generously cheap ticket for this sold-out performance.  Investigators will be quick to realize, though, that the inventor's bizarre persona is worth far more than a "one night only" engagement, and will abruptly find themselves wrapped up in a deadly game of cosmic chess. There are many layers of conspiracy and phantasmagoria to uncover, and players should expect to encounter heinous death-cults both ancient and modern, otherworldly and mind-warping technology, and horrors simultaneously nameless in their monstrosity and disquieting in their humanity.  I've worked up a rich cast of characters, some very exciting action scenarios, and some nicely modular points of interaction and decision-making.  While some may find this adventure more densely plotted than traditional CoC campaigns, you may also find that your choices are wide open at many critical turning points, and your roleplaying will hold great sway in the outcome of events.  (It's got a maps, character portraits, and a soundtrack too!  Although I'm pretty sure I'll need a new one if I can't get my Youtube playlist to run through roll20...) So yeah, looking for 3 players of any experience level!  I can help with character generation or supply pre-gens if needed, although I always prefer to iron out some crucial character details with the players so we're on the same page with what your character wants, fears, loves, etc.  My schedule is fairly open, so I'll be waiting to hear from players re: timing this out.  Please bring on the questions if you have them!  Hoping to start guiding you through this harrowing tale starting in the next week.
I would love to join in on this.  I am not terribly experienced when it comes to CoC, since I've only played it once. But from what i encountered I love the mechanics and more role-play/investigative type of challenges it presents
I would be interested, but it will depend on what day and time you are planning to run the game. I am usually available after 8pm EST. I  have access to mic, discord, and am familiar with the CoC rules, although I haven't had the chance to play it much. My main questions at this point (other than date and time) would be are you using the 6th or 7th edition ruleset, and are we playing pregens or making our own characters? Best, Chris
I am very interesting in joining this. I have played CoC a few times and have always enjoyed playing it. My schedule is fairly open. I hope to hear from you soon.
I would like to join. I have played for years IRL but I'm looking for a reliable group to get my feet wet with on roll 20.
Can you give a day/time you plan to run this? I am very interested to join but need to know when you plan to run it.
Hi Ryan - Are you still looking for players? I'm always interested in joining an intriguing short-series game of cosmic horror.  I'm an experienced character player, and open to playing any background of investigator that will suit the balance of the scenario and party. If there's a particular sort that you want to try out in the scenario, I'm happy to come up with something to help test out a concept, or work with a pre-gen of your ow devising.  I've some recent experience with Call of Cthulhu 7e, as well as other Lovecraftian systems (Trail of Cthulhu and Cthulhu Dark).  What version would you be running?  I'm available to play most weekdays. I am flexible for games starting after 8am and ending by midnight (GMT+1).  Thanks Jag
